Our server was good. It was only 8pm & everything we wanted on the menu was sold out. So we changed our order only for our server to come back 10 minutes later and tell us that they were out of our second options. So I ordered the half chicken which was limp and tasteless. There was no Smoky flavor to it at all. It looked more like a Cornish hen than chicken. The collard greens had no taste either. I opted for cornbread but when my dinner was served I got hush puppies which looked more like fries but they were all stuck together. I did get offered another side and choose onion rings. Those were decent. My husband ordered wings which were dried up and not flavorful. He also ordered fries which were like fries from a bag from the grocery store.We ordered spicy fried pickles and those were good. It took a long time for us to get our food and we had opted to sit outside so by the time our food came we were cold. I did like the music and the whole setup. They could have such a great thing going if their food was worth it. We rarely eat out. I hate that we wasted our money there. We could not get out of there fast enough.

What a fun place! We love the hush pups, fried pickles, and nachos topped with pulled pork for apps. Smoked chicken is tender and flavorful. The wings are AMAZING. We crave them! Tried the sausage once and would not ever order that again. We stick with the wings and smoked chicken. Even the chicken breast on their salad is tender. Friendly and attentive service. We love this place. Expect a crowd on the weekend. Did I mention how awesome the wings are???

A hidden jewel in this area. I have been here twice and tried their half chicken, ribs and wings. The ribs are good but their chicken is one of the best I've ever had. Properly seasoned, not overly salty, skin cooked to perfection. Also enjoyed their lovely decorations.

We usually enjoy Rocky Mount Smokehouse; however we arrived at 5:30 on a 7:00 closing night and chairs were packed up on tables at the window side closest to the parking lot which causes confusion as to whether the restaurant was open. We were seated about 4 feet from a dirty mop bucket. We almost decided to leave when the first waitress we saw had a shirt on with the caption “God Knows When You Don’t Tip”. Fortunately, we had another waitress serve us or otherwise our tip would have been God Knows When We Have Good Service.

Ordered door dash and ribs were so dry I had to throw them out ! Absolutely terrible ! Delivery was very prompt so that was not the issue !

The restaurant itself ain’t a bad place, but the smell that comes from the place should’ve been enough to steer me away and the food made me horribly sick. Not sure if it was food poisoning or what but I’ll never eat there again. I can’t stand the smell of barbecue anymore since then not the best tasting to start with.
