We got a take out order tonight (Friday) and it was so salty we couldn't eat it.Paid $60.00 and had to throw it out. Didn't even get what we ordered. Only thing that was good was the dinner rolls. So I guess we paid $60.00 for dinner rolls.

Anyone who doesn't like the homecooking at The Franklin, well, they've never had any homecooking!! I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Good homecoming is getting to be a thing of the past!! Sad!! The staff are awesome and you get good homemade food for your money!! Keep up the good work, Franklin!! We love you!

People sitting close to us were very loud, coughed, sneezed, without covering. If only some had manners this would be nice. On restaurant, food was okay,needed seasoning, and needed to be a little hotter. Attention to the buffet bar needs work.

Place was downright empty. Atmosphere was grungy. Waitress had an attitude when I asked for a rag to wipe down the sticky table. Unsweetened iced tea was dark and after reviewing other reviews about their breakfast foods. We walked out and went to Ruth’s.
This has to be the worst place to eat. You can tell the food was put in the microwave to be heated up. Don't waste your time coming here. Go across the street to Ruth's place. You get better service and delicious food.

My wife and I took her mom and friend to The Franklin Restaurant to celebrate her mom’s 79th birthday. We were there between lunch and dinner but the food was still fresh and delicious. The portions were very generous and with the salad and vegetable bar included if you leave hungry it’s your own fault! The service was fantastic, food arrived quickly and hot. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back.

I with much regret leave this horrible review. I wish it could be different because the people there are very nice but the food is horrific. I went for the breakfast buffet on a Saturday and I don't know what kind of eggs they used but they were between soggy and rubbery and they had black specs in it that you couldn't identify it almost look like floor scrapings. The bacon was so badly burned you really couldn't eat it you can tell that they deep fry it beyond recognition. Since I live so close to this restaurant I really hope the food was going to be better. The equipment they use for their buffet looks like it's original and could use updating.It was pretty nasty and small compartments barely hold enough food, that is why it run out so often. If three people go to the breakfast bar at the same time they wipe it out and if you were the fourth person you have to wait 10 to 15 minutes to get more food. With a little more effort this could be a great place!If that were to change I would change my review.
