Such a gem, this building has a historic place in Rocky Mount and I’m here for it! From the echoes of the former garage, to the mixed living room decor. I really appreciate the wine selection and the wait staff are the best. The atmosphere is upscale but not stuffy, I feel it’s a great blend between tradition and new school feel. Downstairs is the Alley Cat an outrageous space all about the inclusion of the beer drinking culture. Beer from around the world, and a lot of fun. The Alley Cat where there are no strays, providing a diverse atmosphere where I return again and again.

Really enjoyed our visit here! Service was a bit slow but it was crowded. This interesting place used to be a car dealership. The social house is upstairs and is setup like a home with seating area groups through several rooms. LOVE the vibe and the food is very nice, especially the appetizer selection. Crab cakes were approved by my MD born and bred husband, which says a LOT. Nice variety of bottled beer/seltzers/ciders and wine choices. The Alley cat downstairs (doing a separate review) had a completely different vibe but shares the kitchen.

I have walked past this location a hundred times and finally visited with a friend last night. Man, I was missing out! Everything was wonderful including the staff, food, drinks, atmosphere, and prices! I feel this is a hidden gem in Rocky Mount and will definitely be encouraging more people to check them out!

This place is like something from a bygone era. It’s like an old-fashioned club: comfy high-backed chairs, lots of little alcoves for enjoying a quiet night out with friends and family. Great atmosphere, nice music on weekends, delicious small plates, good wine.

We hosted our 10-year HS reunion at Alley Cat, and honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect! This spot is hands down the coziest, most charming place in town. From the second we walked in, we knew we picked the right venue. The food was amazing, and there was plenty of champagne to keep the celebration going. The staff was so friendly and really went above and beyond to help us out, even with putting up decorations and giving me creative ideas! The whole night just felt magical, and I couldn’t have imagined a better experience. If you're looking for a place that’s full of warmth and good vibes, Alley Cat is the one! Special shoutout to Lauren for making it all happen! :)

We went to the Ally Cat for drinks and dinner on Saturday. Cant say enough good things about our visit! Food was great (fried baloney sandwich and the dorito taco salad) and the beer selection was awesome! Jessica at the bar was awesome as well! Great vibes! We will be back!

We went as a family for the first time. The atmosphere was great if you are only there to socialize with friends. We weren't told exactly how to order so we waited for some one to come to us, which didn't happen often. We had planned on ordering food but decided we would have to wait forever looking at the way things were going, so we went elsewhere for food.
