Lovely local shop. Plenty of space and amazing Mocha's. The owners are just such kind people. When my son told them he wants to work in a coffee shop some day they invited him to come in at closing one day and showed him how all the equipment works. They even let him make a Mocha for me and latte for himself. You may not see it from the road ( it is tucked into a corner of a small group of shops) but it is so worth the trip.

Stopped in on my way out of town and loved every second of it. The inside feels like I just walked into my grandma’s house but in the best, most comforting, positive, friendly, family-energy kind of way. Cozy vibes everywhere.
I got the sausage, egg, and cheese bagel on the French toast bagel and WOW. Absolutely amazing. Super delicious, great flavor balance, and whatever cheddar cheese they use? I’m obsessed.
My mocha with cheesecake syrup was also so good!
And they have coffee ice??!!!!!!!! Literally genius. Game-changing. Will not have to worry about your drink getting watered down honestly wish I thought of that. 😅😂
I’ll definitely be back. Ruckersville needed this kind of cozy-good-vibes spot and Bittersweet Java nailed it. 💕☕️

My wife, son and granddaughter stopped in yesterday and had one of the best times having a cup of coffee, just a really nice family owned business, had a great blueberry bagle,and a great Americana filled to the top just right great experience plenty of things for the granddaughter to play in kids area and very comfortable.
