We had the shrimp and grits and it was so flavorful! The egg Benedict was also very good. The potatoes are Soo crunchy and perfectly seasoned. Definitely coming back here again.

We had a large, group celebration here and are so glad we chose Jack’s Shop Kitchen. The food was/is always fresh, delicious, with a great variety. They did a great job helping us to have a beautiful evening. We’re glad they’re now open for dinner as well.

Saw this place while roadtripping from West Virginia to Richmond. When we saw the crowd at lunch, we checked Yelp and made a U-turn. Great decision! This is an order at the counter and they bring the food to the table kind of place. However, the menu had great variety and the food quality was just fantastic. Highly recommend the Bacon, Lettuce and Green Tomato (BLGT) sandwich. Yum. Also loved the cucumber and tomato side salad. Even if it is busy, there is a ton of seating here and the food come quite quickly, so don't let that scare you too much. Highly recommended!

Made a day trip to try Jacks Shop Restaurant today. I got the Jacks hamburger and my wife got the fried green tomato BLT with turkey. Both very tasty but the fries could have been cooked a little more as they were lukewarm. Hamburger was well done not medium.

Food was great! I am not a fan of the way one orders but I do understand why it is done which is seamless at Jack's. Staff was friendly and helpful.Keep up the great work!

Jack's Shop Kitchen just started serving dinner. We came in around 8:15, though they close at 9, and they were very kind and accommodating. For breakfast, you order at the counter than seat yourself. For dinner, you wait to be seated and have a server come to you throughout your meal. The atmosphere, music, and service were all excellent. The food was even better. The Ceasar Salad was probably our favorite dish of the night. There are very few local restaurants around here that are good like this. I'm glad they have extended their hours to serve dinner. What a lovely experience!

It's been years since I visited Jack's Shop Kitchen and boy have they stepped up their game! I had the Mushroom Burger (medium rare) with their Parmesan Fries. But until I finished thee Corn Chowder. Everything was awesome to include the service. The wait staff did not waste any time checking on me before, during and after my meal. I definitely plan on returning to this establishment again.

Food has been excellent every time we have eaten there. I love having breakfast or lunch and then wandering around the attached antique shop. Try the burger with a fried egg and onion marmalade. YUMMY!

They don't have too many options but the burger is great but as I went to take a bite it split all over my clothes which wasn't great. But as a fan of fried pickles, they were amazing!

Excellent breakfast burritos, belgian waffles, and kids grilled cheese. The grilled cheese was big; our granddaughter ate all of it, except the crust. The slices of bread were so thick, I am thinking that maybe it was homemade? The chipotle and pesto aioli sauces were both delicious, you can't go wrong with either. Staff was friendly, helpful, and hardworking. Can't wait to go back the next time we're in town!
