It's a difficult place to try and get into, but the food is definitely worth it. The staff are super friendly and outgoing along with their restaurants atmosphere of decor is soothing while having your meal. All above else, I would absolutely eat here again!

In my life first time experience, sushi quality and food , it’s a terrible! Not Japanese, not Korean, not Asian multiple sushi and Hibachi food, not American fusion sushi , how they are say Japanese sushi restaurant I known county corner side environment area!…. But this is a nonsense restaurant!! Please ! Please! Now 2024 years and far from Charlottesville 20 minutes and 1 1/2 hours from Washington area!! Definitely decision to continue or not !!! Dk .

I wanted some Hibachi so bad whenever we came back home from Oklahoma. I Googled and found this restaurant. Pulling up to the building makes you question if it's a place to eat. Yet when I walked in, it was very clean. Employees were very nice. When I got my food at first, I was disappointed cause it had teriyaki chicken, and I ordered Hibachi chicken. Long story short, the Lady (Rosmarita name on my receipts) said that she would have the chef remake my chicken. Not only did they remake the chicken. They made the whole plate. She (Rosmarita) told me to take the first plate also. Whenever I got home, it was so so good! I appreciate her willingness to make it right for me cause she didn't have to. Never got mad they just fixed it, and the chef brought it out to me. Thank you, Staff, for going over and above to satisfy me. I'm very glad that I chose Kimono Sushi. Try it for yourself!! I promise you that you will be happy and really enjoy the food as well as the service. Again, thank you for Everything!

Kimono Sushi is an absolute gem in Ruckersville! This family-owned restaurant offers authentic, homemade sushi that is both fresh and delicious. You can really tell that everything is made with care, and the quality is fantastic.
The owners are incredibly welcoming and treat you like family, which makes the whole dining experience even better. Plus, the prices are very reasonable, especially for the level of quality and authenticity you’re getting.

I learned about this wonderful place. I had no idea it existed. Until the owner came into Lowes to buy a freezer. She told us about her store and to check it out sometime. I decided to come on my lunch hour and I admit the food is really yummy. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Cute little restaurant I will definitely be going there again when I have more time and can sit down to enjoy the atmosphere.

Had a great dinner here recently - So glad I finally checked this spot out! I had sushi a friend had curry. Both were great, curry had a kick to it, which I liked.
Service was great, and everyone was friendly. We got in kind of close to closing and they happily seated us and didn't make us feel rushed.
