We were super excited to have Kyoto return, however the experience has been less than stellar.The good: the sushi is AMAZING! I've never had bad sushi there; it's always fresh and delish.The bad: The menu was changed when we ordered last night, I was hopeful this would be good. It wasn't.We paid extra for a serving of fried rice with the beef and broccoli- ended up with two boxes of white rice.The hibachi didn't include any yum yum sauce. A couple weeks ago I added and paid for two- received four. Figured it was actually included and I didn't need to add more if I only wanted one. Would be great if that was indicated.Bought the clear soup, which has been favorful and consistent- last night the small container was literally HALF full.The crab rangoons, which we adore the flavor- weren't crunchy at all, they were soggy.We spent just under $70 on food alone, that we've loved and been glad to support a local business in the past MANY times, to get a real subpar meal. Money is getting tighter so we won't be wasting money on Kyoto anymore. There are better places.

Amazing!!!?I’m only 4 star for service because my griefs don’t list a better category- the service was fine.What I am upset about is that every item we ordered came in a very sturdy, but non- recyclable or compostable container except for the rice boxes & the order in a paper bag in a plastic bag (but it’s a very good bag- I reuse them for other stuff). Everything in our order came in a sturdy #5 or 6 plastic.Great for no leaks, I guess.Horrible for the planet.These are not recyclable locally anymore. Even in C-ville, it’s hard to find a place that accepts these.Great food, happy to have you back, but do better for the sustainability of your packaging, please!

Went in to sit down for lunch. Ended up not being able to stay due to work and took my meal to go. I ordered chicken hibachi and it was delicious! There are three booths so you can eat in and they have plenty of parking. Easy to find and again, delicious!

Surprisingly good! I went on a lunch break to get out of the office and the food was served timely and a very polite staff. The sushi was surprisingly good and there are other items there as well. I had the Philly roll and the Hollywood roll, both were delicious. It's more geared toward takeout but I dined in since they opened 2 months ago.If you're not into sushi they offer other items. I had the crab Rangoon and it was fresh, hot, and crispy.Suppor local business! Check these guys and gals out!

As a sushi snob, I can wholeheartedly say this is the best sushi place in the area. The service was top notch, but most importantly they serve real sushi! Not just imitation seafood!The salmon was amazingly juicy and buttery. The eel was delicious too and I loved how many salmon and eel options were on the menu. And hand rolls! You don’t get those just anywhere.The portions were generous, including sides, and the sushi was fresh. You can’t ask for more.We will definitely be back and we can’t wait to explore the entire menu.
