I am so sorry to give this review. However, the meat portions are small and the brisket was dry and cold. The pulled pork had no texture. It was like mushy baby food. The sides were the only thing that was good. I hope that this review will help bring improvements. The meals that we received were not worth the high price. Sorry...

If you’re traveling along 29 heading to or from Charlottesville Virginia , WFB sits right on 29. Amazing BBQ! A must stop! Delicious and sweet small town people and service .

Poor customer service

Waited over an hour the promised time for a take out order. The food had been ready sitting on the counter before I had to ask about my order. The cooks would just disappear when there were multiple tickets and orders waiting. I was missing a sandwhich and the food was cold. They acted like I inconvenienced them with my order. We will not be back.

Went in here thinking it was like mission BBQ till I was SMACKED with the smell of REAL TEXAS BBQ as soon as I come through the door.
I was greeted by friendly people , And treated with southern hospitality. Very good portions if you’re a hungry fella like myself. 10/10 recommend.

Good if he hired a waitress that actually cares and wasn’t rude. Love the pulled chicken if it was ever in stock.

Stopped by this little cozy spot on our way for a little get away on my wife’s birthday.
Food was really good and served hot, no complaints there.
Was well on the way for a definite 5 star review but then the server mucked things up.
My wife on her way back from using the restroom asked her if she could have some mustard and the lady told her she would bring it to her, great….. When she brought the mustard to our table she quickly set the cup of mustard down in front of me and quickly walked off, strike one, bring the requested item to the person that requested it, don’t totally ignore the lady at the table just because she’s an alpha and your intimidated.

Second strike, the lady towards the tail end of our meal returned, didn’t ask if we were done, didn’t ask if we needed anything else, and most importantly didn’t take notice that we both had food left on our plates and had given no indication that we were done yet. She stated “I’ll get your payment up at the register” and started to grab my wife’s tray while she still had a portion of her burger left to eat. My wife with cat like reflexes grabbed her tray and said I’m not done eating yet. The server then out of what I can only explain as being totally flustered at that moment proceeded to quickly and cheaply apologize while at the same grabbing my tray which strike three you guessed it I still had food on my plate.
I believe she was too busy hanging out and fraternizing with the kitchen staff and bar tender instead of paying closer attention to her customers and what she was doing. Some people can not multitask and when your customer’s attention is made to suffer this is why you do not get tipped after the meal.
Like I said don’t let this review convince you not to try this place because the food was great but service was definitely lacking.

For takeout, We (3 people)had a pound of pork bbq, baked beans, Mac n cheese, cole slaw, and corn bread tonight! It was delicious. I’m thankful to have some leftovers for tomorrow. We will get it again!!
