The staff was friendly and the food was decent. But the building doesnt feel clean or well kept. The ceiling above the tables is caked in dirt/dust and what i can assume is mold from water damage, it makes you feel like no matter how good the food is, Something gross is gonna fall right down into it. If that was fixed and the place given a nice deep clean. Im sure id go back. Until then, if i cant guarantee the places i can see are clean, i cant guarantee the places i cant see...
After living in the Rustburg area for almost 15 years I finally stopped in to grab a lunch at this place. After hearing from the friendly lady behind the counter that their cheeseburgers were top notch, I decided to go with a cheesy western. Boy oh boy am I kicking myself for not trying this place years ago! It was great! Excellent, inexpensive food combined with friendly staff, and retro look make the courthouse cafe a can't miss. The food is always very good, the staff is courteous and friendly, the menu selection is enough to please everyone, and the prices are very reasonable. The premises are always nice and clean both inside and outside. The dining room atmosphere is enjoyable. I would recommend this place to anyone.
