Ordered a taco salad. The menu said it came with pico de gallo, but on our receipt we were charged $1.12 extra for pico de gallo and didn't ask for extra! They did it to two of us. Would not remove it, not happy probably won't eat at this particular La carreta again.

I always get the quesadilla grande and as always it’s great!
Honestly food is just sub-par there chimichangas are horrid but there tacos and carne asada are alright. Service is nice and friendly. The atmosphere is pretty chill, a solid place to chill but I wouldn't go just for the food.

Ordered 2 soft steak tacos with beans and rice on the side. Instead I got 2 ground beef tacos with “hard shells” that were beyond soggy and falling apart soon as I got them. Usually I have no issue with the food or service though. It was too late to really turn around and get it fixed so I ate what I had ??♀️
