Yummy food, friendly and helpful staff. They also have an ice cream truck outside at certain times. The atmosphere is a nice place for a family dinner and we enjoyed it when we went. Staff remembers us and it created a lovely environment to be in. Lots of booth seating.
Good local place to get lunch. It's not fancy so don't expect that based upon location alone. There isn't much cover in this area and this spot is better than most others so I recommend it off you must eat in The Ladysmith area otherwise keep driving south or north.
This place can be hit or miss. On a previous visit, the Chicken Marsala was disappointing. It tasted more like chicken simmered in watered-down soup rather than a rich, flavorful sauce. This time, I ordered the Chicken Parmesan, which I have enjoyed here before. Unfortunately, it was not the same. The chicken seemed more like pre-made patties, perfectly round with a different, less fresh breading than I remember. It feels like they might be cutting corners lately, which is a shame...
