We were in town for the CSX Santa Train and Giovannis was open early and took AMAZING care of our group of workers on the Santa Train...they prepared pizza for us EARLY and also fiked us up a special cinnamon roll and they were the BEST hosts we could've ever hoped for!!!

They have good food but the wait time is crazy! I placed an order online and it said 45 min went to 3 different shopping places before I went to pick up and still sat for 30 min waiting, I will only go here again if I am not wanting food for awhile

My partner (vegetarian) and brother are in agreement that this is some of the best Italian food we've had in a long time. The lasagna and the baked spaghetti were incredible, and the portions were more than worth their price (which is affordable on almost any budget). And anything with meat sauce can be done vegetarian style. There's a reason they've been around for over 40 years.

Ordered on line and paid with a good tip. Got there for pickup and order wasn’t ready. The worst part was that the employees were arguing right in front of the customers. Very uncomfortable atmosphere! When my order was ready the thrower a pen at me at told me to sign for payment and to leave a tip if I wanted. I had already left one on line. Left out some of my order and was so rude at checkout I didn’t go back in to get rest of order. Needless to say that was my last trip and they have lost my business!!

Absolutely the best place to eat in all of SWVA. My family has been going here all my life and now my children love it too. Sweetest people and amazing food, we can't leave without taking home a pint of red sauce. Giovanni's in St. Paul is honestly the only restaurant I've ever been to that has never been disappointing. Most places have good and bad days but this one is always 110% amazing!
If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Had a misunderstanding on an online order and asked for them to replace it. She then said “you need to learn how to order.” Terrible older employee that’s a woman. Does not need to work in customer service with a terrible attitude. Don’t go here!
