Did a little nature walking in Saint Paul and we always like to choose small diners and such to have a meal. So glad we picked this place! Very welcoming storefront, as well as interior design. We were greeted by a lady at a table which we assumed was Mamaw lol. She was very nice and seated us. Soon after, another nice lady came out and took our orders. I had country fried steak with soup beans and fresh out of the oven Mexican cornbread which was amazing! My wife ordered a mushroom...
If you're looking for that home feeling and the most friendly staff then this place is for you. Farm fresh eggs and wonderful biscuits and gravy and the large pancakes are highly recommended. Thank you Mamaw for the wonderful experience. WE WILL BE BACK!
Just like to say God bless Mamaw's heart for getting up every morning and making the HOMEMADE GRAVY! It's so hard to find really good gravy and biscuits anymore. And yes, she even makes the biscuits. 😁 all the food was great. Mamaw came out to talk to us and she is such a sweet person. I enjoyed it there very much.
