Nick's Spaghetti & Steak House

I think this restaurant is living off of a legacy. I live down the street and I eat out at least 3 diners a week. I have been there twice now. Neither time was it in the slightest decent. First time was with a group of family members, I had a cheeseburger. If you can't make a cheeseburger tast good, you shouldn't cook. Absolutely no flavor and the fries were cold. But I didn't mention it. The other 5 people with me all ordered different things, no one mentioned that what they ordered tasted good. The second time I went with someone who said she used to stop there ever time they went to the river ( years ago) and couldn't wait to eat there again. Both of us ordered pasta. I ordered spaghetti and meatball, I didn't eat it. Something in it was spoiled, had a sour spoiled food taste. Hers, she said at best it was edible. The place was definitely busy, full of locals. The old fat guy was walking around talking to all of his regulars. I definitely will never go back. There is an Italian restaurant 3 miles away that I have eaten at many times and the food has always been great. I think the people go there out of habit and as just a community gossip spot.

The atmosphere was great, very friendly country people. I ordered the steak and spaghetti and my fiance ordered the same. We both thought it was pretty standard country food, nothing stands out though. Delicious food, just pretty normal.

Great place for a family meal. Lots to chose from and large portions! The steak and spaghetti combo was a fun challenge to finish ;)

We went to this restaurant thinking we were going to an Italian restaurant. Well, it was more of a diner than anything. I think the food would have been great if we ordered the hamburgers and fries. The lasagna was not great. I order the fried flounder which tasted old and tough. I couldn’t really eat it. The fries were fantastic though. I can’t believe we spent almost $60 on this food that should have cost us half that amount. I am sure the diner food is great. Just stick to it and you will be safe.

Haven't been here in nearly 25 years, but nothing has changed just as good as ever, people are wonderful, food is made from scratch, everything clean. I had the crab cake special, with baked potato and my husband had the special chicken Club with onion rings everything tasted wonderful. Hope to go back soon

WORST FOOD EVERY NASTY scallops where not scallops i tried to pull apart in front of waitress and was like skate wings fishy couldn't eat salad was all lettuce and 2 cherry tomatoes crab cake was deep fried just gross need to close it down before make people sick

I took my husband for his birthday. He LOVED the chicken parmesan and cheese curds. Amazing!

Seafood and steaks were what my party ordered. Steaks were delicious and seafood was ok. The seafood platter did not allow a substitute for one of the foods but all other foods on the platter were good. It also helped that our large party had a reservation because the restaurant filled up quickly.

Always a delight to visit. Everything from steak to seafood is great! Cuisine is reminiscent of your 1950s steak house. Just the basics with ample portions and great flavor.
