Very nice and clean library with very inviting displays of new books and other items. Large selection of books for all ages as well as books for sale and food for sale. The kids area had computers to use also.
Always friendly and helpful, very giving to helping the community, have free produce now for those who need it.
A fantastic small town library. Yes, it has books, computers, WiFi - things you expect. But it really is a community center with a free food pantry, local museum, conference rooms, free donated portion dresses in the spring, and lots more. Definitely worth a visit (or more).
These librarians are knowledgeable and so kind. Bend over backwards to help you.

My husband and I just moved to Shawsville. We were able to stop by the Meadowbrook Library today and were very impressed. The librarian is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and the library itself is great - it offers a good selection as well as hosting community events. It's cool that it is in the same building as the Meadowbrook Museum. We will be back this week to set up our library card so that we can start using this cute library regularly :)
I attended the paint the Tote event, it was lots of fun.

I was there for a book launch about the Christiansburg Institute and was very impressed with the library. It was laid out wonderfully and very clean

Stopped in here for a few hours of rest during a drive cross-country. Really cozy and much more welcoming than a lot of libraries in bigger towns. Plus it has one of those water-bottle-filling drinking fountains which I love. Not a huge selection of books but entirely reasonable for a library of this size.
