A friend told us that Farmer’s Table in Smithfield, VA had really great burgers, and he was spot on! We tried them today for a Valentine’s lunch, and the burgers and fries were so delicious. There are plenty of choices on the menu board, however we thought we would try their most popular, The Farmhouse Combo and a Farmhouse so we could share the fries. This is important - get your own fries! They are too delicious to share! The burger was perfectly cooked with a tasty char....
Thought this was a farm to table kind of restaurant but it's more of a quick service restaurant with fried chicken, burgers, brisket sandwiches and the like. It was bit more expensive than I would have expected ($4.49 to add fries and a drink to your sandwich). Tasty but a bit greasy. Yummy yummy food! Got the grilled chicken sandwich with pepper Jack cheese and added tomato and I can’t stop thinking about it and getting it again. Would definitely go back! And nice atmosphere.
