Applebee's Grill + Bar

Applebee's in South Boston, VA did an awesome job accommodating the Class 1990 for a gathering after Comets football game. Service was great and so were the food and drinks....thanks Applebee's for a wonderful Friday prior to Class Reunion.

Maurice was phenomenal! His personality was outstanding. You could tell that he was a person that enjoy helping people. Applebee's just so happened to be out of broccoli. Being vegan you don't have many choices at Applebee's. However, when asked to speak to a manager she SUCKED (she has a piercing on her upper lip with brown short hair). She didn't provide her name, she didn't apologize, she did nothing. When we asked to cancel our food it was not communicated so the food that was ordered was still brought out. Applebee's you have to do better in order to please a larger range of people. Having just salad is not pleasing to all vegan people. Overall, the short brown haired with a lip piercing she needs more training in customer service and how to deal with all people.

Best place in south boston to get a burger. Bartender is good. My only complaint is this place always feels dirty

The food was great, but my wife ordered a salad that normally comes with grilled chicken. She requested crispy chicken, and the manager up charged $5.99 just for the chicken. We thought that was a little excessive. We were not very pleased and chose not to order any dessert because it left us displeased.
