Had a wonderful experience there tonight. The food was delicious! The customer service was wonderful. All of the staff was very friendly. Diana took great care of us. Although she was very busy, she chatted with us often and made sure our food was good and we didn’t need anything. Would definitely return!

Recently we had lunch at this quaint downtown restaurant in, South Boston.The service was wonderful and the server welcoming. I ordered the, Bacon~ Chicken ~Wrap, and it was delicious!Also, shopping in the downtown area was an added bonus.

We came through south boston as we have many times to see family. We stayed over night in town this time. Looked up burgers and found Main Street bar and grill. I truly hate these kind so reviews but this is what travelers depend on for good places to eat i call for take out. There service was awesome and the lady's there we're very helpful, polite and professional. But heres the but. I got the Diablo burger, which by no means take them light when they say Diablo because it was spectacularly hot It was way over cooked. The fries I feel like we're probably only in the frying oil for like one minute because they were cold and soggyWife's burger was the same way over done. Past well done. I hate this. I know how important Main Street is but @ $16 + for a burger. gotta do better. Sorry.

Fantastic! In town for work from Atl and stumbled upon this place 5 stars! Great service, food was outstanding from the salad down to the entree and dessert!
The evening hostess/attendant was fantastic. Very considerate, helpful in our orders, and super kind. My "El Diablo" burger was cooked medium and just right. The sauce is very good, but I had it on the side. I do recommend this burger if you like spicy food.I can't remember the dessert that I had because it wasn't on the main menu, but it was a cake-like (cake?) and I thought it was just the right amount of sweet. Also recommended!

Always stop here whenever I have time for lunch or dinner. Right in downtown SB, and formerly Cafe 1880 (or something similar), the Grill has great food and staff. A perfectly done ribeye and asparagus this last time accompanied my appetizer of warmed homemade pimento cheese. Great salad as well.

Stopped by on our way through based off of the previous reviews. Our server was very friendly and promptly returned with drink orders and checked with us often during our visit. We ordered the large buffalo chicken salad and a cheeseburger with French fries.The large salad was mostly iceberg lettuce topped with 10 -15 pieces of buffalo chicken, a few mushrooms, cucumbers, chopped carrots and two black olives. Fresh ingredients, just not a lot of veggies.The cheeseburger was a good size, but served on a cold (what?!?) bun. It was definitely hand formed patty, but it had been overworked and tough, despite being juicy. The French fries were ok, not piping hot, which I would have expected since we were the only ones in the restaurant.

Have been here three times and absolutely love it! My late uncle and I went together for the first time and he loved it so much we came back with the whole family and now I'm engaged and brought my fiance to try it and he loved it too! Our waitress made it extra special for us as well!!
