Paid drive thru for 2 menu items: medium chocolate shake and 6 chocolate chip cookies. After arriving at the second drive thru window they advised the shake machine was down. After asking for a refund the rep told me they don't do refunds but would substitute with something else. I ended up with a substitute product I really didn't want.

Stopped here twice on the way to and from Washington DC; must have either visited at the right times or at the right shifts based on the other reviews. Did not use the app, and instead went in and also used the drive-through - both times the food was noticeably freshly made, though during the second stop the hamburger was a bit slapped together.

The fries were way overcooked, me and my friends orders all got lost and we ended up waiting 40 minutes for nothing and had to order again. Not very clean and the employees did not really care.

Came here for lunch on the way back to NC and I was blown away at the hot quality items we got. It was by far, the best burger from a McD's I've ever had. I may drive up to VA to enjoy that again. Wonderful service and clean restroom. Great location and best McD!

Terrible service. Ordered a coffee through the mobile app and stood at the counter for 10 minutes was ignored by multiple staff members. will not be coming here again.

I ordered from the app. In the window, they were having trouble getting the orders together. They almost sent me away without my 4 drinks. I had to ask for them. When I got home, 2 fries were missing. I called them, left a message, and never got a call back. So I lost money. It's pretty unfair. I got sick after less than an hour after eating here (hives and needed Benedryl), but my children did not. I don't think their oils don't sit right with ME anymore first time its ever happened. So I don't even want the food, I just want a partial refund for the TWO MEDIUM FRIES that were not given to me. Luckily, the 2 large fries served 5 people well. So I over-ordered, but when I didn't actually get my food, I overpaid. I hope someone will eventually return my call and make this right.

Should really take your store off of the online ordering app or hire people who actually want to work, if you're just gonna cancel online orders every time you get them. No matter what time of day, I place my online order and make the 20 minute trip to the McDonald's, and every time without fail my order gets cancelled once I park. It's not a me, my card, or an app issue either, as I can order at other locations without issue. It is only this one in South Hill that cancels my online orders every time. Don't worry, I won't try again. I'll take business elsewhere. I wish I could review the food for the people who want to dine in or drive thru, but I never get my orders.

It's better when you don't lie when we ask if any sauce (that we ordered) is in the bag if you're not sure. Just hand out another one. Maybe some retaining or new staff would help. Thanks for wasting our money.
