75 miles is not too far for lunch or dinner. Beast BBQ anywhere and brisket you would go to war for. Cheesecakes and pies! I get 20-24 pies every six weeks for friends. I get more love there than I do at home and we’re married 50 years this July.
Absolutely fantastic BBQ. This is an old gas station converted into a BBQ place, and it's clean but simple - but you're really not here for the ambiance or the service, you're here for the meat, and the meat is delicious. Easily the best brisket I've had in years, no question there, and it was helped along by some awesome sauces. The pulled pork was fantastic as well. The sides (I chose collard greens and fried okra) were great, very home-y. If I lived anywhere nearby, I'd go here all the time.

Hole in the wall with great service and food! Everything is made here! Brisket is good, a little too much grease. Mac&cheese, perfect. Potato salad, good. Bathrooms are clean. Get dessert also homemade! Only have a few tables, but also have old-time lunch counter & couple outdoor tables if weather is nice. It's in an old gas station and lots of memorabilia inside. I love stopping here when traveling thru the area! Not far off I-85 and way better than fastfood.

Stopped in to place an order. Spent $55 for 2 meals. We ordered rolls with one meal and extra rolls.Upon arriving home.(a 30 minute drive.) we discovered that we had no rolls at all.I called to let them know, and a younger girl answered the phone and was extremely disrespectful and rude.I spoke with another lady as well, and while apologetic, she chose to do nothing to make this right.Additionally all the chicken appears to be all dark meat (not a fan). The macaroni and cheese does not taste good whatsoever. The coleslaw is not good either, it only tastes like cabbage and vinegar.They need to try harder and do better.We will not be returning.
