Have eaten in many Subways over many decades. Usually I have been quite happy with Subway, but this Subway located in the Walmart in South Hill VA was disappointing. I wish I had chosen some place else to eat. The lettuce and spinach was well past the discard point in my opinion. I did suggest replacing the lettuce, but the attendant either didn't hear me or ignored me. So I my sub was made with substandard lettuce. Wife didn't have lettuce on her sub, but was also disappointed in the overall quality of the sub. My Italian Herb bread was probably a day old, it was stale. We certainly won't return to this Subway.

They forgot my ham on my sub & then read the order back to me & said that it was ham on

GROSS! Found 3 long blondish hairs in my footlong sandwich. Called from the highway. Female who answered sounded unconcerned. The only other person behind the counter was a short-haired man with dark hair. No apologies, but she offered for me to return the sandwich. As we were well into continuing on our road trip, that wasn’t an option. “I will let them know” is all she said.

Usually a good experience here. New girl didn't put any ham on my BMT in my last order... not too big a deal, just make sure you watch them making your order, I wasn't or I would have noticed. Orders have always been A++ before this.

Subway has a great italian bmt on italian herb and cheese and the staff is very friendly I would definitely recommend it.
