It would have been nice to get the honey butter corn bread I paid an extra $3 for instead of hush puppies and a hard stale roll. Maybe could have informed me and asked or refunded the cornbread if it wasn’t available.

I am leaving this comment to reply to Josh. I am a south hill native and although the old owners are not there anymore, the new owners are personable, welcoming , energetic, knowledgeable about food and their craft. They will work hard to make sure their customers are satisfied. I have been coming Wilson’s with my parents, since I was a child and BOTH owners, old/new, are amazing. My Mom recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, hot, and seasoned perfectly. And the sweet tea, yall, was sweeeeeeet ( which I loved.) We will definitely be back the next time we are in town. Thanks again
