Someone simply needs to manage this staff. Period. Instead there are numerous workers who ignore customers and won’t acknowledge them at all. I watched the little fat Mexican guy who was hiding from his job get in a verbal argument with a delivery driver. He was literally trying to snatch the food out of the drivers hands. It seems apparent that his ego is more important than customer service. Really bad scene this morning that’ll turn me away as a customer for good.

Unfortunately the service in south riding Panera is falling a part. Last week they forgot to add 2 of the sandwiches I ordered. I made a trip to picked up. Then this morning I order 4 bagels and 2 of which was hard and not fresh. Like I am sure there are more unhappy customers. Will no go there again.

Panera is one of my favorite restaurants, so having one near my house is great! I’ve been to this place a plenty of times throughout the years and I’ve not ever been dissatisfied. I love their food! Their service is like any other restaurant it’s not amazing but it’s not bad. I love their duet meal along with their baguette. I totally recommend them to anyone around the area.🎀

One of the worst experiences at a Panera Bread location - South Riding. While the brand and offerings were good, the staff was unprofessional and discriminatory towards some folks. I ordered a meal for my niece through the app. My niece approached the waitress to politely ask her to change her gloves due to her pork allergy. The waitress responded with rudeness and unprofessional behavior. I then calmly approached her and asked her to speak to us nicely, as this would not be the first time we have been treated this way. The waitress was upset and called her manager when I spoke to him about the situation. Unfortunately, he was also unprofessional and lacked communication and customer service skills. He was unable to handle the situation and tried to apologize.

Everything in the bakery is a week old. When I asked when it was baked, no one knew. “Probably yesterday,” I was told, as cashier pointed to a microwave by the coffees.
Corporate needs to point out the meaning of “baked fresh” to this location.

We ate here twice on a recent trip, both times with about the same experience. Plenty of free parking. The order taker on one occasion was fantastic, but not so much on the second trip. I like the digital board where you can track the progress of your meal preparation. The kitchen gave us the wrong sandwich one time, but since we took it to go, we didn't realize it until we opened the bag. Quality of the food is good. Taste of the food is good.

We frequently enjoy takeout from our neighborhood restaurant, and my kids love their food. However, I've recently found a strand of hair in the Caesar salad on two separate occasions. As a regular customer, I felt it was my responsibility to bring this issue to their attention, especially considering the importance of hygiene and the fact that my kids are eating the food.

When I reported the issue to the manager, I was surprised by the casual response. It felt as though my concerns were not taken seriously. I want to stress that my intention was simply to help them improve and be more vigilant, not to seek any compensation. Unfortunately, the team seemed to think that my call was just an attempt to get free food, which is disappointing.

I believe it's crucial for them to prioritize food safety and hygiene rather than dismissing customer feedback. As much as we enjoy their food, I may consider taking my business elsewhere if this mentality doesn't change.

Just want to say: I watched every single person try to open the right door before trying the door on the left. Perhaps you should have a sign saying "please use other door" if the door on the right is locked. After all, that's the formal entry door.
