The sandwiches and kombucha we had were delicious. The tofu bahn mi was delicious. The outdoor, dog friendly, seating was absolutely serene.

Such a lovely place with outstanding service! The breakfast was everything I hoped for—the salmon was incredibly fresh and delicious, and the bagel was perfectly crispy and flavorful. I’ll definitely be coming back.

A great place to stop for lunch on the way to Shenandoah National Park. The food is great, there is an outdoor seating area near a stream, and a mini store with some souvenirs and other things. A cool thing about this place is that it is actually off the grid, in the outdoor area, across the stream you can see solar panels. Definitely recommend this place when you are on your way to go to Shenandoah National Park.

I will drive an hour and 15 minutes just to get something to eat here. Highly suggest the quiche if they have any and rice+chicken bowl for your furry friend.

We went after hiking Old Rag for sunrise and it was the perfect breakfast!
They have really good coffee and drinks as well and the staff are very friendly.
Outdoor seating by the river has beautiful views!

Terrible food and service. We ordered a breakfast pizza and it took a while to arrive. It tasted like frozen pizza that had the toppings scrapped and was warmed with egg whites. It tasted horrible. We had a few bites and fell sick later on. The water was self-serve in a copper pot and it tasted horrible. The blueberry coffee cake on the check out counter tasted liked Betty Crocker yellow cake mix with brown sugar topping and a few blueberries in the mix. We got sick eating here. Avoid. Not worth your money.

My husband and I dropped in today for lunch after a hike. We have had coffee and baked goods before and knew we’d enjoyed both thoroughly, so we thought we’d try the lunch menu. I ordered the Mediterranean plate and he got the BBQ plate. Both were delicious!! The falafel on the Med plate was outstanding, and all of the vegetables tasted so fresh! His pulled pork was wonderful as well. Can’t wait to return and try other menu items! Highly recommend!

Our family loved this place! The highlight was the creekside dining for a little splash fun and how dog friendly it is!

We were so delightfully surprised by Off the Grid in Sperryville. After a great time camping at Big Meadows in the Shennandoah, we passed this great restaurant after leaving the park. Their focus on sustainability and on locally grown ingredients was impressive - and so were their pastries! The Thai Curry Bowl was absolutely fantastic, as was the Cauliflower Pizza (no, seriously, it's a fantastic pizza, whether you're into cauliflour crust or not). The fish plate is a build-your-own experience and the chili was hearty and savory, with only mild heat. We are excited to have found this great stop on the way to on of our favorite parks - we'll be sure to stop by again the next time we are in the area!

After spending the previous day in Luray looking for a good place to eat and not finding one, this place in Sperryville checked all the boxes - a great multicultural menu, loads of vegetarian options and chic ambiance. Ordered the Ramen, Panang Curry, and the Cauliflower crust pizza - all were gourmet and delish! Stop here before you head over the hill.

I have been coming here since they opened. I guess you could call me a foodie who is very particular about where my food comes from. Everything they sell is organic AND delicious. They check all the boxes for me. They have an extensive menu, plus specials, and prepared foods you can take home. They grow most of their ingredients, use local meats, and their eggs are from chickens they raise. The only problem is trying to decide what to have on the menu because everything is so good. Anita, the manager, is a gem. Go and sit by the beautiful river out back and enjoy.
