Where do we begin? We had some of the most delicious food prepared by Distinguished Engagements for our wedding reception dinner. We live in a different state and our venue recommended Distinguished Engagements while we were in the depths of planning; we could not have been happier with the outcome! The Buffet Service that we requested included Roasted Prime Rib, Pan Jus and Fresh Herbs & Loaded Mashed Potatoes--it was *chef's kiss* perfection! In addition to the buffet, we had an amazing charcuterie spread that was beautifully displayed with some of the largest berries I think I've ever seen.
Not only was the food amazing, but Kim was so kind and provided the best customer service we could ask for the day of our event! She dedicated extra time to us the evening of our wedding that was not originally anticipated or intended; Kim went the extra mile to ensure that our reception was perfect, and we are so very appreciative.
We were even delighted to be able to enjoy some leftovers of the prime rib a few days later--it got even better. Thank you all again for making our special day so perfect!

My husband and I used Distinguished Engagements as our caterer for our wedding and had a great experience. We appreciated their guidance and collaboration on getting the menu just right and it also meant a lot to us that they were up for accommodating our requests with no fuss - things like composting food scraps, packing up leftover food, ensuring the salad plates were in proper sets for each table, and more. The servers from their team were exceptionally kind and attentive and we felt very well cared for. Last but not least, the food was delicious. Would recommend them!
Distinguished Engagements employs (or used to hopefully) a pastry chef who refuses to serve members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Place Revamped. Has high hopes for much touted Cubano sandwich, did not meet expectations, and mouse pie was a frozen industrial desert. Too pricey for food quality.

We recently hired distinguished engagements for our wedding and were so incredibly pleased! Theresa was amazing to work with throughout the whole planning process. She was always extremely collaborative, up front about cost and organized! We attended a tasting for our menu where the food was delicious and that carried through to our wedding. We could not receive more comments from guests about how good the food was and how impressed they were with everything! We highly recommend hiring them for your wedding in the future!!

This is a great place to get breakfast or lunch. Food is tasty with decent portions for decent prices. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. I love the ancient grains salad as well as the chicken salad sandwich, though there is nothing I’ve ordered so far that I wouldn’t get again.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options!

Extremely limited choices and over priced for the small amount of options they do have. $11 for an egg and cheese sandwich?!? I’m always a big fan of supporting local businesses and I am obviously a human being. So, I understand people make mistakes. But, if you burn toast for a customer it would be more understandable if you brought the food out and said something like “we are remaking your toast because we accidentally burnt it” than serve literally black toast. Took my drink order when they went to go check if they had orange juice and forgot to get my wife’s drink order! Like i said, i am big on supporting the Mom and Pop shops but that was just ridiculous. We won’t be back and i can’t say i would recommend this establishment.

My new goto place for a late lunch after a long day of hiking in the Shenandoah National Park. Chicken salad is some of the best I’ve had. Homemade peach pie, truly made in house? Big piece? Say no more! Thanks!
Parking: Tons of parking right out front.
