Food is pretty good for a neighborhood golf club. Staff were super friendly.

My review is based off of four dining experiences as a quarterly resident guest and let me tell you, nothing about my experiences would entice me to become a full time member.1. Prepare for a LONG wait for food. Every time we’ve had to wait over an hour to be served and although the restaurant isn’t crowded, are told there are a lot of carry out orders overwhelming the kitchen (odd this seems to happen every time).2. Poor wine list. Lots of Virginia wine offered, but not much else.3. Weak mixed drinks. Nothing more to be said here.4. Subpar service management- Even after horrible dining experiences that our servers apologize for, we’ve never been greeted or acknowledged by a manager (which is strange coming from someone that has worked in the service industry). After waiting over an hour and a half for an appetizer of chicken wings, our server offered to take it off our bill only to come back and apologize saying that her manager wouldn’t let her.5. Food consistently comes out inconsistent, some plates are ice cold and others are over cooked.6. Our servers have always been very nice and efficient, unfortunately the kitchen has not helped their cause.

My parents had their 50th anniversary party here. The staff was friendly, helpful, and extremely accommodating. We arrived early to test out sound and video for a slide show and to set up balloons. The food was delicious and everyone had a wonderful time!

WOW! What an amazing dinner we had. Chef Garth prepared some of the most creative and beautifully delicious dishes I've ever seen. We will definitely be coming back on a regular basis for this level of sophisticated cuisine.

This time my dinner was served barely warm, daughter got someone else hamburger and needed an exchange, husbands steak was good, but 50% off drinks actually were excellent. We have good meals and not so good meals here. We go several times a month and wish we could say each visit was excellent, but not so much. Menu this season however is better.

The seafood buffet tonight was wonderful! The raw bar with delicious oysters and an incredible sauce for the mussels with Sambuca was amazing! Fresh clams and boiled shrimp also delicious. All the other dishes were also so tasty including the mixed salad with candied pecans, goat cheese and strawberries, the wedge salad with thick creamy dressing with bacon and the buttery sautéed cod fish. We could eat this every week! All kidding aside, chef Garth knocked it out of the park! And we really would love to have this more often. Just wish there was a blender to make those margaritas frozen. Thanks!
