A Mexican grocery store with restaurant! Owner was really sweet and the food came out fresh and tasty. I got a chicken quesadilla which came with a side sauce which was decent! Came here after a hike on a whim while in town. Def worth a visit and we would love to come back!

Wonderful family run place and solid Mexican food choices. They offer tasty standards in tacos, burritos and tortas!

Chorizo burrito was awesome. Paired with a tamarind soda for lunch time perfection. ?

One of the best chicken quesadillas that I ever ate! Very reasonably priced.

A wonderful little spot for great Mexican food. There is indoor dinning, though you have to go through to the next room to find it. They also sell children's party supplies in case you need anything last minute. Be sure to try the popsicles in the deep freezer by the door - they were our favorite after a hot day!

So so good I think we will go back for more. We all ordered different things and they were all great. The most polite, sweet kids working. Ordered takeout over the phone with the menu off their Facebook - highly recommend!!

Incredibly delicious tacos in Standardsville, VA. Fresh and flavorful ingredients, including seemingly homemade tortillas.

I am a visiting nurse and stopped here on a work today to grab a taco. I tend to be picky about Mexican food because I lived in Texas and California and have been to Mexico a few times. This place is a tiny gem. The chicken tacos tasted fresh and had all the fixings. The tortillas were especially tasty and pleasingly crisp. The young man who waited on me (perhaps the owner's son) was delightful. I was amazed at how professional and attentive he was because I don't think he is even in his teens yet. This kid will go places!! His Mom was lovely, as well. I do have some suggestions though: the more FRESH ingredients you can use the better, make sure to wipe off the tables between guests, and get rid of the neon green hot sauce on the tables -- like the sodas in the frig they are full of food coloring. bad for our health. Otherwise, I wish this place all the luck in the World.

Little kid who attended us was so friendly. Glad to see that he is using his summer time helping out his mother. This little kid was super dedicated and despite his young age, he served our table. Food was delicious and I like the integrated Latino Grocery Store.I am glad that the latino-hispanic roots are growing in small cities like these. This place is a authentic and unique in Greene County.

So good! Me and my boyfriend came for a quick stop meal and as we are latinos, it was so nice finding this gem! Me encanto los tacos de carne y a mi novio la quesadilla! 10/10 recommend if you want some yummy authentic Latino food :)

Not Authentic or Special My friend and I wanted to love this place. When we saw that this place had 4.5 stars, we were stoked. What we go was less than mediocre. Look at the attached photos. The chips clearly came from a bag that I could have gotten at Wal-Mart. The cheese wasn't even queso, it was nacho cheese. The taste reminded me of the cheap, overpriced nachos at a Regal Cinema. I ordered the tacos. The meat tasted like something I could cook at home. Am I an amazing cook? Nope. That's how the chicken and pork tasted. The salsa might have been the worst part. The salsa tasted like tomato paste and salt. Some of the worst salsa I have had at a Mexican/Latino restaurant. My friend's burrito was filled with fresh ingredient, but was blander than drywall. When the primary ingredient you taste in your burrito is the tortilla, then there's a problem. Overall, my friend and I left disappointed and wondering why we didn't just make this same food at my place. The store is nice and so is the service (cute kid working at the register), but the food is not worth paying for.

While I enjoy the food my wife isn't keen on it. I'm a vegetarian and I think it's a good choice in the city of stanardsville.

A great little authentic place, restaurant and convenience store. The food is prepared fresh, tasty, and plentiful. Good value too. The kids loved it! The store has a lot of treats, spices, and even and excellent chorizo for the grille!
