All the food was fresh and delicious. The guacamole was nice and chunky with fresh tomatoes in it. The prices were good too.

OMG, this place is a diamond in the rough. Food and service was absolutely amazing. Worth the stop in, your taste buds will love. Food was freshly made and super yummy!! They had nachos topped with beef that was simmering for 48hrs!!! Their pupusa's are to die for!!

They gave our order to another table. No problem, accidents happen. Offered us an appetizer while we waited. They gave us the wrong order. The pupusas are fantastic, though! Would come back if we're in the area again.

Picked up a to-go order yesterday evening only to get home and discover that the chips were stale, the pupusas were missing curtido, as well as salsa. I was a bit annoyed, but figured I’d just give them a call to get a partial refund. No sweat, plus people make mistakes. Well, surprise, apparently they can’t refund you? In the year 2025, they can’t figure out how to refund you.. yes, you read that correctly. This was only surpassed by the clear disregard and apathy for my concerns by someone who called themselves a “manager.”

the sopes we had were INCREDIBLE and for sure the most authentic ones i’ve had outside of Mexico. The homemade masa was amazing and everything tasted so fresh and well seasoned. The staff was also so kind, I highly recommend this place and will be back to try more :)

Authentic El Salvadorian food. I'll give 4.5 (round up to 5). In summary, generous portion with good price, and authentic. I ordered Steak Fajitas and it was huge - enough for two people, actually. I've tried pupusa, traditional El Salvadorian dish, for the first time here and it was different from typical Latin American food. I want to try more next time.

I'm out here on vacation and the absolute last thing I thought I'd be eating in Stanardsville were pupusas, but my God were they good.
We got done with our hike late in the day and weren't able to get there until 30 minutes to close. Normally, that's a practice I stay away from, but they were very gracious, and didn't make us feel rushed at all. I think our table tried each pupusa variety and the chorizo street tacos. Plus, we got to try a couple of Jarritos we hadn't seen before. Everything was fantastic!
This place earned every bit of 5 stars! Thank you!
