We came inside last night 30 minutes before they close to order a decently large order for take out. The guy behind the counter was so nice and read our order back to us, we went to pay with a card and he said if I pay with cash he gives 5% off and a free soda and I didn't have cash but noted it for next time! We are just passing through here so I don't know if we will ever be back in this area again but if we are, we'll come back. We ordered a few different meals and every Chinese restaurant I feel like is different in how they prepare and serve things. This restaurant gave an entire container of the main dish and then an entire small container of rice for each main dish! Normally (at our local Chinese restaurants) we get the rice and the main dish inside 1 container, so when we opened everything we were shocked at how much food there was haha! It's like you can feed 2 people with 1 order so that's very good for the price!! Their shrimp egg rolls and crab Rangoon were very delicious. Our shrimp and chicken dishes had a good amount of meat too. I will say my mom and sister mentioned the sauce was thicker than we're used to (again, all Chinese restaurants are a little different) and they were indifferent to it, but I actually prefer this restaurant's thicker sauce than our regular restaurant's. One thing I will note is that they didn't give us any sweet and sour sauce and I don't know if I was supposed to order that on the side but when we get our crab Rangoon we've just been used to getting the sweet and sour sauce included but it's possibly my error for not ordering it, so maybe if you NEED the sauce be sure to ask for it. When the order was done (very fast, probably 10 minutes for a large order) they even packaged everything inside of a box with a plastic bag around it and I thought that was so nice, much better idea to use a sturdy box than a big paper bag which gets all oily and can rip easily. I just thought it's a nice thing to do so I wanted to mention it here. This was a great experience and I wanted to share my positive experience here because we live several states away and are just going to visit DC so I just don't think we'll be able to come back, but wanted to thank the kind employees for their attention to detail and their kind demeanor. 😊 ❤️ 🙏

We had delivery / dinner. We ordered General Tso’s chicken and crispy beef with sides of fried rice. The General Tso’s was good! A slightly lighter sauce than I’ve had before; some are darker. No complaints there though. The crispy beef was amazing! 10/10! I’m a General Tso’s guy always, but I’m going to get the crispy beef from now on. It’s sweet with a little bit of heat. Delicious!

This was my first time trying Ginger Asian, I did carry out, & it was really really good! Pictured is the combination plate - shrimp & garlic sauce (I asked to remove the bamboo shoots, water chestnuts & bell peppers), it comes with the fried rice (you can up charge for different rice/lo mein) & an egg roll! The egg roll was one of the best I’ve had in a while, super crispy, not greasy at all, & the cabbage had great flavor. The next picture is Kani Salad, which was also very good! A little on the spicier side than others I’ve had. Overall, very very good food. The restaurant is very nice, clean, & the person who gave me my food was very friendly. I’ll definitely be ordering again!

Food was very bland and all came with YELLOW RICE which is not what we wanted or asked for. 2 meals were ordered with no changes and they had YELLOW RICE, and 2 meals were ordered with FRIED RICE ($1. Upcharge) but got YELLOW RICE also. My daughter even tried adding salt to her chicken LoMein it was so bland. We used to eat order here regularly before Covid but it has sense gone down hill. We tried giving them one more chance, but woke up to my son being sick this morning so we will never eat here again.

Just noticed the place has a new owner, and it feels a bit different now. When Anna was running things, there was always this warm, welcoming vibe—like she really cared about everyone who came in. I kind of miss that. I hope the new owner can keep that same feeling going so we all still love coming here.

Very easy to place my order online. It was ready when I got there, which was even a few minutes early. The food is always very good. If you're in the area of Stephens City, Virginia, I highly recommend this family owned restaurant for their great food!

I was skeptical going to ginger Asian, As I was very dissatisfied over the last year . I had actually stopped eating there. Low and behold I had a craving and yes I'm not sure why I called ginger Asian but I did. when I arrived i Immediately knew something was different. the staff was friendly. The establishment was cleaner (still a take out restaurant) I received my dinner . Was even wished to have a good evening.. When I got home and started to eat I was in shock the fried dumplings were amazing. I had shrimp with garlic sauce and again it was to die for .at that moment I knew they had to have changed ownership and got me back as a loyal customer.
