We stopped here on our way through the area. I was expecting basic diner food, but this was exceptionally good. 10/10 would recommend if you are looking for good food.

Visited this casual, country diner for a quick breakfast the other day. The interior is very dated and didn’t look particularly clean, but the food was done really quickly and the price for the breakfast platter was reasonable. I loved the home fries. The coffee was very watery and not very good and there was what appeared to be a beard hair on my toast. Honestly, I’ll probably still go back, but I do wish they’d have their cooks wear hair nets.

I've been driving by this restaurant for the last 10 years, wondering if it was one of those hole-in-the-wall places or an actual hometown cooking type diner. Today I finally broke down and went with my husband. He got an orange juice I got a coffee we both got the pancake egg and Gore sausage. They had a new cook so it wasn't as good as I believe it could been, don't get me wrong the food was good. But my husband was there a few days ago and said that it was absolutely phenomenal. So I plan on going back when there's another cook to try again.

Food is good. Service has not improved. It is still slow and he neglected to send our order to the kitchen. He did figure it out after he delivered the food for a table sat after us. ?‍♀️

I was late getting dinner, but the server was patient, kind and works to serve the customers. The food was outstanding and well priced for the amount of food served. They were closed five minutes before I finished, but I was allowed to eat in peace.Would recommend eating here to anyone who is hungry and likes good service, clean surroundings, and great food!

Parking: Get the parking while you can, it may be very busy.

Three of us had breakfast there today. We had not been to Highpoint since the new owner had taken over. Each of us enjoyed our food. I ordered the western omelette and it was delicious. The peppers weren’t overcooked. The home fried were very tasty. There was good selection of bread to choose from for the toast. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back.

French toast and corn beef hash was amazing! The BLTE was awesome! Very impressed.

Loved the food! Server was a tad awkward, but I found that to be part of the charm, and he did a good job! Locals seemed happy. We were traveling, and the decision to eat here was a 'throw a dart' type decision, but I will search it out next time we take that route!

We eat here frequently and have for years. Absolutely love their breakfast... best grits, sausage gravey and scrapple! All the waitresses are polite, nice, knowledgeable and go out of their way to make your dining experience pleasurable. I would highly recommend this restaurant to my family and friends! And everyone that are traveling through the area.

Food is fantastic employees seem to argue all the time in front of guest including the owner she gets just as involved as the rest, lies as bad or worse than the help.. Grace given to her she takes for granted, and does not return it! She listens to gossip and does not fact-check anything's and makes decisions on the gossip she hears. Reminds me of a house full of women bickering all the time.. I know employees that she has fired and had to do it over a text message.. did not even have the decency to do it in person or let the employee speak their piece.. I have personally done work on that building as an emergency service "at no charge" and the mother of the owner is the only person that showed any gratitude. One day I believe she will get what is coming to her and there will be no way she can wiggle out of it.. always remember the Lord forgives but he does not forget! Nor does the people that have been scorned! Keep an eye on the paper the truth will come out in time!Matthew 7:14

I wanted to send out a huge, "Thank You" to Phyllis, Donna, & the Staff, for helping make my Sister's Birthday a Special event yesterday. We all had a great celebration & enjoyed ourselves. Thanks again for providing a comfortable atmosphere for everyone. ❤️

I hope they don't get shorthanded enough that you get the waiter that serves you everything 2 and a half feet above the table. I couldn't determine if he was just quirky or doing some power play like come get it beotch! I am generally patient, but don't want wait staff that takes long when I'm hangry. There was a couple that left without ordering bc they could tell things were not going to roll fast that day. Don't stop doing what you do though bc my dad loves this restaurant. He doesn't however understand food like this is what took over the belly bulging project when he gave up beer. I almost wanted to hate the food I ordered, but it was actually really good, sadly that was almost a week ago and I forgot what I ordered. Oh yeah, I think it was a barbeque burger without the bacon (bc pork=cancer). Enjoy!

If you're on the highway and want a 30-minute break, I recommend driving through this quintessential small, pre-suburbanization Northern Virginia town, and getting a bite at this diner. It offers all the positive qualities one should expect of such a diner.

Parking: There is parking for both semis and personal vehicles.
