Really less than subpar at best. With tons of better Vietnamese options in the area, I regret coming here. This is more of a quick stop fast food counter, not an actual restaurant - they share space inside of the TeaDM store. We stopped by this weekend and was very disappointed by our experience.Sitting space was weird. They have these "vintage distressed" looking benches but in reality, they just look super old - the fabric and paint is peeling off, and it was sticking to our clothes. Really gross to sit on. We asked an employee about them and they confirmed that they're just old benches.Food was just ok but they do charge on the higher end for the area. Beef shank pho - I assumed by the name that it would be a bone-in beef but that was my mistake, it was just slices. Still, $14.49 for a regular sized bowl of pho is expensive. Broth was ok, it didn't taste like a hearty deep soup but closer to a storebought processed version. $3.65 for ONE garden roll is ridiculous, as well as $13.49 for a beef bahn mi... they don't even make their own bread, they just buy the $1.99 French baguettes from Giant (I saw a bunch laying there on the counter.)I don't see this place lasting for much longer.

Food was out quick and very delicious. I got the garlic steak and I'm eager to try the Bon Me Sandwich next time. Would highly recommend

Just looking at the picture I took has me carving for more. I got garden tofu roll and garlic steak over rice. The fried egg is not included by the way. You pay extra if you want it. The meal was nicely proportioned. Steak cooked perfectly in my opinion. Come with a salad. I demolished this this food. Love it! Quick service. I got my meal less than 15 minutes. Can’t wait to go back for me!

Always quick, polite and the Banh mi sandwiches are out of this world! I am hooked. To be clear I’m only reviewing the eatery on the right when facing the two counters. Definitely check this place out. You will not be disappointed.

While waiting for our boba order, the Bon Me Shack is right next to TeaDM. We ordered off the kiosk on the counter and went with a pork banh mi and a shrimp summer roll. There was a bit of a wait for such a small order and they weren't busy. The summer roll was tiny for $4.00 and that's for only one roll. The banh mi was really tasty though. They are on the pricier side.. $12 for a banh mi! Don't think I'll be visiting here again.

Ordered their bun and a bubble tea. Although a bit expensive for the quality received the quantity was solid and ingredients fresh. However their sandwiches looked very good, would go back to try their banh mi!

Best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had! Wonderful customer service, very clean environment and they served the food so quick. The food and spices were so fresh and delicious, I couldn’t get enough. Definitely will be back. If you’re around the area you NEED to stop by! ?

First things first, The Spicy Beef Noodle was great. Finding the store was a bit difficult as there’s no name board outside. Had to step inside TeaDM to actually find Bon Me Shack. The staff was courteous. There were plenty of seating options and they’re self-service based.Would go here again to try their other options.

Okay Okay

The garlic steak and the caffeine free mango tea are my favorites. I spend way too much money here. But if you buy 4 teas you get one free. Also, you can sub out beef for the garlic steak on your bon me sandwiches. It's a little extra but worth it. I hope this place is successful. Unfortunately, they have plenty of dead square footage. So, it's quiet most of the time. But it's not a good idea to be paying for space and not making any money off of it.

Love this place! The chicken bowl is always fresh and delicious, and the Bahn mi while on the smaller side is excellent. Only suggestions would be to add an option for half salad/half rice in the bowls for additional cost and add a dumpling/steamed bun stall to the space.

This place came up on Yelp a few times when browsing for the Ashburn area so I thought why not. It also helps that there is a TeaDM here too.Placed my order online both times and the wait times were pretty short both times. We've tried the Grilled Chicken Bowl, Garlic Steak on Rice, Pork Vietnamese Tacos, and the Crispy Spring Rolls. Pickup was pretty easy and on time. It hasn't been busy the two times I've been there but the staff is nice. The space is pretty big so I'm expecting more stuff to be in the space. The food was solid, nothing out of the ordinary. Spring rolls were good but pricey for two pieces. The actual meals were pretty filling though.Great quick service Vietnamese if you're passing by though. I'd give it closer to 3.5 stars.

Located in Sterling off the illustrious Harry Byrd Highway, Bon Me Shack in Sterling shows that you don't have to trek to Eden Center for good Vietnamese bites. You can find Bon Me Inside TDM, where they have shared seating for both establishments. Ordering is done via kiosk at the counter for minimum human interaction. With only two people working during a dinner-time visit it was a bit of a wait despite a small amount of diners. On to the food:Bon Me Pork: Yummy grilled pork, daikon veggies, Jalapeño peppers. It came with spicy Vietnamese Mayo on side, which I used as a dip. The bread is a typical French Bread, but not the variations used in traditional Bahn mi.Spring Roll Shrimp: A Single roll which was a disappointment in regards to portion but otherwise solid, peanut sauce on side.Overall well done Viet street food that is a good complement to the TDM location.
