In addition to the food, the hookah experience was excellent—smooth, flavorful, and well-prepared, making it a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. Service was prompt, and the overall experience felt warm and professional.

We live super close to Clove which is why we try and give a chance to Clove again and again. Only to be disappointed 😞 I would say the best fish I have had in VA so far was at Clove. That's all I can think I have had from clove that didn't disappoint. The gajar halwa and kheer is not good at all! I ordered Kashmir Chai Chai which was okay, not bad but not great either. If anyone has tried good things at Clove please feel free to suggest. I have just been very sad with my experience.

The management Adeel And Shahzaib were incredibly organized, welcoming, and truly went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. The staff was just as wonderful helpful, attentive, and always ready to assist with anything we needed.
The food was absolutely delicious. We selected dishes from the Afghan menu and paired them with Pakistani appetizers, and everything was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Our guests kept complimenting the food all night!
Overall, Clove Restaurant exceeded all expectations. Highly recommended for anyone planning an event or simply looking for great food and exceptional service. Will definitely be returning!

I’m leaving this review a year later after noticing the number of fake-looking positive reviews for this place. I’ve been here a few times with a group, and each visit came with service issues. The only reason I returned was because it’s very close to my home and it stays open late to accommodate any sudden dine out plans near home with friends. Even though the restaurant was never fully busy when we dined in, the service was consistently disappointing and specifically disrespectful in last visit.
During my most recent visit last year, we were the only group in the entire restaurant (with just one other table occupied), yet the servers completely ignored a simple special request. They could have easily said yes or no, but instead chose not to respond at all.
We had gone with visiting family, and it happened to be their child’s birthday. Around 8 PM, we asked if they could do something small for the occasion. The first server listened, nodded, and went inside the kitchen as if he was going to check with somebody. He comes out and stands near the kitchen door and then did nothing—just watched us from a distance. We checked with this guy twice. He pretended as if he hadn't heard the first time. He went away and this time didn't go inside and stood near the kitchen door. Another person in our group asked a second server, who said he would check, but he simply walked back to join the first server and neither returned with an answer. It was disrespectful of them standing and keeping us waiting for a response while we finished our dinner and continued to wait for an answer. The 7 year old child with us was also waiting thinking something special would come for him. We didn't ask it for free, we just asked if they have something special to make the kid's birthday memorable. The answer could have been simple - Yes/No. But no response is shameful.
We eventually asked for the bill and told the server how unprofessional it was to ignore the request. All we received was a smile and a “sorry.” We paid and left.
Since then, I haven’t gone back to that place and I make sure no one orders food even online from there if I’m sharing food.
