I’ve visited Clove a few times now and I love their food so much. For me it is the best desi food in northern Virginia. The restaurant’s interior is so gorgeous which further elevates the ambiance but the service and food is equally as amazing.

Samosa - Simple and perfect. Great seasoning in the filling and good crisp!

Chapli Kabobs (Beef) - 10/10, the seasoning is always spot on and they cook it to perfection. They’re sooo big and I order it every time I come.

Mattar Paneer - 10/10, they cook their paneer dishes very well. Paneer always soft and the masala is great. I’ve had their palak paneer too, also amazing!!

White Chicken Handi - 10/10, creamy flavor and not too spicy but that is the beauty of the dish. The chicken was tender and melted in mouth. Tasted great with naan!

Don’t miss out during Ramadan for their Iftar buffets, so many menu items and drink options. It is never ending and my whole family is always satisfied. Amazing service all around and the food always fresh and warm!

We had a beautiful anniversary party here for my mother and father in law. The venue was bright and spacious. Adeel uncle was very accommodating and responsive. He took care of everything for us and we didn’t have to worry about the food or service at all!

Clove is amazing and the chef deserves all the credit. The malai kabob was tender and packed with flavor, and the chicken chapli kabob was perfectly spiced. The mango lassi was refreshing and delicious. You can tell the chef puts real skill and heart into every dish.

Huge shoutout to the chef at Clove. The food was absolutely incredible. You can taste the care and authenticity in every bite. The chicken seekh kabob was juicy and full of flavor, and the kebab platter was the perfect mix of meats, cooked just right. The spice level was spot on and everything was served fresh and hot. To end the meal I tried their kheer and it was hands down one of the best I have ever had, creamy, just sweet enough, and the perfect finish. Great service, cozy atmosphere, and top quality food. I will definitely be coming back.

Clove has seriously stepped up their game. I’ve been here before but lately the food is on a whole new level, flavorful, fresh, and full of depth. Not sure if they brought in a new chef but it definitely shows. The goat karahi was rich and perfectly spiced, the beef chapli kabob had great texture and flavor, and the butter chicken was creamy and delicious. The staff was friendly and the restaurant has a clean, modern vibe. One of the best spots for Pakistani food in Sterling. Highly recommend.

We ordered chicken 65, chicken malai kabab, and 2 veg samosas. The samosas were okay, no complain about them.
However, the rest were very disappointing. Chicken 65 was not flavorful at all. It was dipped in too much oil. And when we say spicy, we DO NOT mean just put some extra chilli there, we mean it should be flavorful!
The chicken malai kabab was utterly bland. Both the malai kabab and chicken 65 were made with breast pieces, and the malai kabab was very dry.
It is difficult to have something such dry with rice.

We recently hosted our sister’s wedding at Clove Restaurant, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The ambience was elegant and gave us a true five-star feel, setting the perfect tone for a memorable celebration. The food was delicious, and the customer service exceeded our expectations. The Clove team was proactive and attentive—reaching out multiple times beforehand to go over every detail including the food menu, decorations, and stage setup. A special thank you to Shazaib, one of the partners, who was present throughout the event, constantly checking in to ensure everything was running smoothly and that we had everything we needed. He even arranged for food to be packed for us afterward and personally followed up for feedback. Though Adeel, another owner, was out of the country, he still took the time to call me twice to see if there was anything he could assist with. That level of dedication speaks volumes. Overall, a 10/10 experience. Highly recommended for anyone planning a special event!

I recently dined at Clove restaurant, and the experience was very underwhelming. We ordered the main full platter, but it was a letdown—the platter was served cold, the rice was old and not fresh, and the chicken was also cold. The fish tasted unpleasant as it was cooked in old oil. The paya dish was watery and lacked the richness it should have.

The only dish we found enjoyable was the chana masala, which had good flavor. However, the dessert options were very limited. We ordered kheer, but it was disappointing—it felt like a canned rice pudding rather than authentic kheer. The gulab jamun was passable but nothing special.

While the service was okay, the pricing was far too high for the quality of food. A 20% service charge was automatically added to the bill for our large group, which totaled $87. On top of that, they still asked if we wanted to leave an additional tip, which felt excessive. Service charges should be optional and based on the customer’s satisfaction.

Overall, the food quality did not justify the high prices, and the lack of attention to detail in both preparation and service was disappointing. I would not recommend Clove restaurant, especially for large groups, as the experience does not live up to expectations or the cost.
