Pizza was ok, nothing special and definitely overpriced. The outdoor seating was great nice atmosphere but the service needs improvement.

Coal Fire, like so many restaurants, has been impacted by staffing issues stemming from COVID and various government subsidies. Sadly, this is the new normal and the world we now live in. As a patron and a customer, I want to highlight the local businesses who have worked to retain their staff. And thank the staff who are putting in the hours. I am appreciative of the service industry staff who have "stuck it out" through this period. Tonight Danielle, filling in from the Burke location, and Zane who has taken on more hours to fill in staffing gaps, took amazing care of me. Danielle and Zane hustled to represent and be the face of the pizza artists who worked behind the scenes. Coal Fire is lucky to have Danielle, Zane and the staff of pizza artists who were working tonight. If you choose to patronize this business - show some grace to the staff who are here working. Because they are not collecting a check from the government, they are working.

Ordered Caesar salad, asked for it not to be grilled came with lettuce grilled and big pieces of uncut lettuce also paid for extra Caesar dressing which I didn’t get. Also paid $5 extra dollars for less then half a chicken breast on my salad. I doubt whoever made this salad would eat it themselves.

A little bit pricey, but the pizza is delicious. I worked 5 years for 3 different pizza company and I appreciate the way Coal fire make their pizza.

Bald guy with the glasses up front looks like he hates his life and has given up on happiness. He looks like he wants to suck the youth and joy from the young. He presents like a husk of a human being. What happened to him? Give him a day off or something good god. He's not mean but he just looks like he would rather die than be here. That's all.

We came in and got our food to go. The place was empty & there was one server on the floor. We ordered bruschetta and a Greek salad which tasted normal not extraordinary just average. Ordered the PESTO PASTA w/ blackened chicken. Still not sure what the dish was that we got but it was in some type of brown sauce, I didn’t see any evidence of pesto in it & it did not taste like pesto, it tasted like spaghetti noodles with brown sauce & they added some blackened chicken very disappointed because I really wanted pesto. If you look at the pics of the dish you will see there was no pesto. Not sure if I’ll try this place again. 4/10

Manager was extremely rude. He was unprofessional. Their service was much better before.

Food is 5 stars, service is 2 stars. Rounding up to a 4 because I understand the difficulties restaurants are still facing with COVID. I have visited this coal fire many times in the past year and the food was always exceptional, this is the favorite pizza place in my household. However, to go or delivery orders and often incorrect. Dine in service is terrible. Happy hour deals make it worth coming and dealing w bad service if you aren't in a rush. Most of the servers are good but are typically slammed. One worker (older male) seems to be the manager or owner and is always quite rude and grumpy. Nice spacious patio though I have not noticed if the patio is even currently open. Make sure you try the spicy sauce on your pizza!!!! This place is worth a try for dine in if you have patience.

The two times that I have ordered pizza the service was slow and subpar. The pizza lacked cheese, and the special sauce was on the sweet side of things, too sweet. It can use a higher quality pepperoni as well.

Would give this place a negative star if I could. The service and wait times are awful. Server ( Harry) is extremely rude and unhappy to be working there. If you send the management an email to complain, no one even bothers to respond, apologize or fix the situation. The food was decent but prices are high. Was trying to support local restaurants but this one is totally not worth a visit. Go there only if you want to test your patience and be talked down to by server Harry!

We came in at 3:15pm for a late lunch so we were already pretty hungry. When we walked in, it seemed that the waiters and owner were not happy to see us walk in at an odd hour. Once we were seated, we were greeted with an impolite attitude, but since we were hungry, we thought we would ignore it. Later on, we asked a couple questions about the menu, and again, we were given attitude by the owner as if we were stupid to ask such questions. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all, so I don’t understand what the need was to be so impolite. We left without ordering food because we didn’t appreciate the unnecessary attitude and would much rather take our business elsewhere.

Some of the best pizza I've ever had, hands down. Crust is perfect thickness, white pizza and 3-meat pizza were delicious. Highly recommend.

Went here today for a family date for $50. Loved all the pizzas we ordered. The crust is charred perfectly; we also got chicken wings and chicken tenders and fries for our little one. The fries had crispy small pieces which we like! ?
