This might be it fellow Peruvians, I tried the escabeche from the menu today and it tasted like grandma’s, I wouldn’t be surprised if the move to a bigger location soon specially if they reach a wider audience.

The Peruvian food here is very authentic and delicious. We ordered lomo saltado and a trío (chaufa, fried fish, ceviche), and both myself (non-Peruvian) and my Peruvian husband really enjoyed it. We went around 1pm on Sat, and some customers were already drunk in the convenience store (where the eatery is located), creating an interesting vibe… The table was also dirty & didn’t get cleaned up after we sat down. The chef recently opened a restaurant in Manassas. If you care about the dining environment, El Warike in Manassas has a better environment. Food on both sides are equally delicious!

La mesera muy malcriada con el cliente.
Cuando pague mi cuenta me arrancho la maquina y no me dejo seleccionar el tip solo me lo quito.
Solo por que no me gusto la chanfainita y le pedi que porfavor me lo cambiara a un tallarin y me quiso cobrar el doble por 2 menus cuando solo comi 1 menu. Y le dije que era la ultima vez que regresaba aqui por no ser amables con el cliente siendo mi primera vez que visitaba este erestaurante
y ella me dijo…
“ Asi dicen todos y de ahy regresan ! “
pero lo dijo toda malcriada.
QUE ASCO DE LUGAR
NUNCA MAS REGRESO AQUI.
Regresense a sterling aqui no los queremos. 🚫

I’m Peruvian and this is the most authentic homemade Peruvian dishes I’ve tried . I drive a truck for work and steady try Peruvian food everywhere I go I even travel to peru on free time and man the flavor is spot on . & since it’s a little bodega style store it feels just like Peru I will highly recommend this place to anyone and it’s clean .

Their tables were dirty when we entered. Their steak on their lomo saltado was very chewy. They used the wrong type of meat for the lomo saltado.

This place is a hidden gem 💎! I gave it 3 in atmosphere because we had to go in circles trying to find the location. It is inside a convenience store tucked in a corner behind the product isles! Overall food, quality, taste where awesome, outstanding I actually don't have words to describe how delicious this food made at this whole in the wall place is. They have a pretty extensive menu, but incredibly all food is prepared from scratch, tastes so good and it's seasoned to perfection 👌. I'll recommend this place 😋 💯. No drinks though, they have to be purchased from the convenience store side! But don't let that discourage you it's worth the try!
