Hangry Joe's Hot Chicken & Wings

Clean, bright, and good vibes all around. A great spot to chill and enjoy some spicy food. Laid-back atmosphere with good music and a welcoming feel. The chicken was perfectly crispy and juicy—easily some of the best Nashville-style hot chicken I’ve had!

I’ve had more hangry joes since I’ve moved out east than any other restaurant, my family and I *love* it. Biggest caveat, which is one of their strengths, is that the restaurant makes everything fresh… The spice levels have been variable at the five or six different ones I’ve been to! I only get mild, it sometimes the mild is too spicy. Then I’ll ask for “no heat” and it will be completely unseasoned…. If I could just find some consistency in their mild, I’d be good to go. LOL So far my favorite location has been crystal city around the pentagon shops. They always add ranch, and the cook is impeccable!

I was in your store in Bixby, OK tonight. I was charged over $50 for three cold meals and one we never received. It took nearly 45 minutes to receive the cold food. Two of the cold meals weren’t edible. We never received the fourth meal. I demanded a refund, but upon review of the receipt, I was only refunded $14.53. What kind of operation are you running? Ridiculous. I want a full refund. With whom do I speak to get a full refund?

The sando is excellent. This is not what I typically have in mind with Nashville Hot Chicken. Unusually associate Nashville Hot Chicken getting the heat and the slice from being drenched in hot sauce. That is not the case here. The head and the flavor come from the slice on the chicken which I actually much prefer. The place is kind of dumpy, not super clean probably only enough tables to seat 25 people, the napkins are cardboard McDonald's has better napkins. The sandwich is top tier.l though. To compare or to wooboi (which I love) I would say the chicken is better at Woobiu but the spice is better here. Just marginally that prob comes down to preference. I will say I was going to order wings but so wanted to try the spicy soy sauce but they wouldn't give me a dab of sauce without charging me. They are definitely penny pinchers but her they are running a business.

Where do I even begin, not only does the food come out fresh to order but it it also hot and ready to go. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is amazing.
