Joe’s Cafe is a local hole in the wall restaurant that serves awesome breakfast and lunch options. The vibes are awesome and love that the horrible cell service forces you to interact with people in person. The servers are super personable and they always take good care of you. The price point is also super reasonable. Be ready to have a wait if you go during peak brunch hours on the weekend.

I've been starting my mornings here for more than a decade. There are several breakfast options in the area, but Joe's Cafe is by far the best. This unassuming and hidden gem is definitely a local favorite, and it is easy to see why.The first thing you experience at Joe's is a very warm welcome from the friendly staff. They get you seated quickly and make you feel very much at home. The owner, Joe, is frequently there to personally say hi to everyone and offer his thanks for being a customer.The food is what you would expect to see on a typical American diner menu with personalized names for each dish. I typically order the "Nora's Combo" but have ordered other dishes, and I have never been disappointed.When I mentioned above that this is a "hidden gem," I meant that literally. They draw in business not with flashy signage or obvious location but instead with consistant, "perfect" service.

Joe is the man! Super friendly owner and his workers are great! Had the ZEP sandwich and my partner has the spaghetti and meat dish. Nothing crazy but a place you could return for a meal nevertheless.
I live less than a mile from Joe's Cafe. I see it every day in that little plaza and always thought I would try it someday. I guess some that held me back is that my overall expectations of most places these days are substandard. But not all. Then, I saw a very high review in one of my magazines. I think it was rated as one of the best diners in Northern Virginia. Then I knew it would only be a matter of time. Yesterday was headed to Potbelly's, but at the light I said, what the heck and did a U turn and entered Joe's. I was greeted very nicely and there was a friendly atmosphere, but professionally and with the customers. I did notice that there were a lot of folk in there that looked like me. Middled aged to older men with baseball caps. Had a feel as if I was in Culpeper. I sat at the bar and ordered eggs over medium (don't like runny whites), bacon (don't eat much bacon anymore), Toast and potatoes. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. I drink my coffee black like the cowboys did, and you cannot have good black coffee unless it is fresh. This was very good. Bacon cooked nice and crisp and a big portion. Eggs over medium, no runny whites. Potatoes had a great taste of onion that I really liked. Finally, the price was right as well. Great place and I might be a regular. Hello to Helen!! Mickey.

Groovy joint. Food for the soul. The owner or whoever it is that is always greeting people is a cool guy. There's almost always a wait time here but the line moves quick and it's well worth it. They have an amazing Reuben here that I love. This place gets 10/10 horsey horse points!
