Much better than all other area sushi places. EXCELLENT quality seafood. Low sodium Miso soup for those that care.

I had high hopes, but ended up very disappointed. I ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi and fried shrimp dumplings. The dumplings were very disappointing, and did not at all appear like what was in the photo online. Not only were they super tiny, they also did not have a lot of flavor. The steak that came with the hibachi was super dry, and lacked flavor, along with the rice. I at least hoped for tender steak and lots of veggies, but unfortunately I didn't get either. The staff however were super friendly.

I go to this place pretty often, and always have great sushi! I like to get the selection of sashimi, but everything I've had is good, and always quickly prepared for pickup. Definitely recommend this small place, for pickup or dine-in

My go to sushi spot. Sashimi Love is my favorite and the ginger salad dressing is amazing.

Great place. I'm kicking myself for living in the area for several years and only trying it for the first time 6 months ago. Quick and friendly service whether you eat in or get takeaway. Very clean. Very reasonably priced. I'm not a sushi eater, so can't comment on that, but the soup, salad, tonkatsu, gyoza, and tempura are delicious. I now order from here at least once a week!

Used to come here a lot when I lived in this area. Not sure if they still do half off sushi but that was worth it. The sushi quality wasn't bad for half off, but for full price I'd probably go elsewhere.Staff was always indifferent but they got the job done.Bathrooms and dining area always were clean. This review is based on experiences from 2016-2019Vegetarian options: YesKid-friendliness: YesParking: Plenty of free parkingWheelchair accessibility: Yes

Miyama is a great little restaurant tucked in a shopping center between a coffee shop and salon. My family loves everything from the appetizers (my kids like the Rock Shrimp and I like the dumplings) to the sushi, hibachi, and noodles. Would like to rate the food 4.5. Restaurant is clean, service is attentive and friendly, and their take-out is just as good.

I wish zero stars was an option. Horrible service and a resentful attitude from staff, which is nothing new. Throughout the years I have given Miyama innumerable chances to redeem themselves but the end result is always the same: Utter disappointment and $150 (at least) down the drain. Management is completely clueless as to what true "service" really means. Freshness of the sushi is lower than subpar. Tonight was no different; however, it was the very last opportunity this establishment will have to earn my business. Enough is enough. We placed a Miyama order on DoorDash for $125 (for myself and my two daughters). By 9:45pm our food still had not arrived so I contacted Door Dash. Per the DD rep, Miyama had set up a partnership with DD but never completed the process, yet did not take themselves off of the app! Thus, allowing patrons to place DD orders for Miyama. Granted, very poor management on DD's behalf. When I called the restaurant directly, they basically said it was my problem and hung up. In the end, DoorDash gave me a full refund plus a $30 credit to use on my next order.Honestly, i'm unsure as to who is more at fault, but this I know: Miyama is not worth the convenience of being within my neighborhood as there are many more sushi restaurants in Loudoun County that actually appreciate and work to earn my business.Sayōnara, Miyama!

A small, quaint sushi bar, with a chill vibe and decor. Service is solid and prices are reasonable. The only issue is that the sashimi wasn't... Quite fresh. It wasn't terrible, but it was off-putting and definitely drops the rating a notch.

Love coming here for their lunch special but they do not have it on Sundays. Sunday hours also open at 12:30. Staff was all great and food came out quickly. It was not crowded so we were able to sit anywhere. The food is always great here.
