Sometimes, what you really need to fix your whole life is a pot of turkish coffee and some knafeh and to be fussed over a little by someone who reminds you of your grandmother.
On this particular visit, I also needed kibbi (I don't know what it is about those little footballs, but I never met one I didn't like) anz a salad, but you get the idea. The restaurant itself is in an historic house, decorated with interesting antiques (all for sale, if you're interested) that lend it a very old-farmhouse atmosphere. You come in through the side and they will get you seated, I ended up in the little luncheon-y room next to the kitchen, though a larger party that came in after me got placed in one of the dining rooms.
The laminated menus have not appreciably changed in a long time, and that suits me fine. I ordered extra to take home, since I live out of town now, and then just settled in to enjoy myself and relax. No one rushes you, no one hovers, but they're available of you need something. Personally, I just need a second stomach. Everything is so delicious, and I can never finish on my own. Next time, I'll bring friends!

Mona was very kind and respectful. Her little restaurant in a repurposed home makes this place extra special. The food she makes is delicious and authentic traditional Lebanese food. I highly recommend this hidden gem for lunch or dinner.

Spectacular 🌟. Honestly, if their food is always like it was today I can say it is easily in my top 5. Everything is home cooked and it tastes like it. Hands down they have the best dolmas and falafels I’ve ever had! The kofta and leg of lamb were both amazing. The hummus was very good too. Even the salad was delicious. The restaurant is well designed (the home is from the 1860s) and has a nice historic feel. Mona was very kind and is an incredible cook. I can’t wait to return and I highly, highly recommend!!

Unique dining experience that's more like going to a friend's house than a restaurant. They serve lunch and dinner. Parking out front.

We've been here a couple times now and its our favorite Lebanese place, hands down. This time, though, we lost track of time and were laughing so hard that we stayed an HOUR after closing and didn't realize it until someone in our group pointed out the time. We felt terrible and quickly got ready to depart, but Mona's family were so sweet and forgiving. They never came to tell us that they were closed because he said we were having too much fun to disturb! How sweet, but we did feel terrible! Anyhow, the food is amazing-- get the Baba Ghanouj for sure, and we love the Shish Taouk. But definitely try this hidden gem of a place for honest hospitality and great flavors.

Wonder place and food and owners
A true gem. The food was top notch, the setting was unique and very nice and Mona was so nice and helpful. Go for lunch and enjoy excellent hummus and we had the chicken schwarma and the spinach dumpling things. This isn’t out of a freezer bag - it’s actually home made food that’s made for you when you order it.
Incredibly cute, cozy, and delicious. This authentic Lebanese restaurant in a renovated house is well worth your visit
Our new favorite Lebanese place for food! Authentic meals with very friendly staff.. We have two very picky teenagers and they raved about this place for days. I would suggest getting a reservation as the seating is limited.
Excellent food, outstanding service, beautiful place. Highly recommended
