Pelicana Chicken

🚨‼️SPOILED FOOD ALERT🚨‼️ The first photo shows how the rice was packed. Second I received a combination of older white rice and a very discolored crumbly rice on the sides that was clearly past its edible date. Third as I was eating the rice there were clumps of very dark brown rice hidden that tasted spoiled including the rice surrounding it. That’s when I had to stop because it was UNFIT FOR CONSUMPTION!!! I am posting this because it is very highly dangerous to serve spoiled rotten old food to customers. It is deceptive to operate a storefront that is supposed to provide fresh, hot, delicious food especially when we put our faith and trust into the brand and the people operating it. This business practice of serving spoiled food and charging me for it seems VERY ILLEGAL to me, not to mention morally bankrupt. Absolute worst service I have ever received in the food industry. Mortified and shocked someone would look me in the eyes, smile and hand me spoiled food to eat. Just Horrible.

This Pelicana is not on par with the other stores. The guys that work there are nice. The chicken needs some work though. Pelicana in Flushing, NY is way better. I ordered a whole spicy chicken which was not bad and a large boneless soy garlic, which was not so good. It was dry and did not have enough sauce on it. They need to learn from the other stores. If they want to busy they need to hire some younger hot asian and latina girls. This will make up for the mediocre chicken!

Food was not that good as they say and they were so rude absolutely worst experience. I went there with my friends and they made me feel bad cuz I gave this option as a food place

Not bad. Service was slow. First person was served then 20 minutes later the next and finally 30 minutes later the rest. Food was good.

It was delicious!! Definitely recommend the Cup bap and the spicy crispy chicken.
The cup bap came with fried rice, spicy fried chicken , peppers, lettuce and onions! It all tasted wonderfully together.
The crispy chicken sandwich was topped with a cabbage mix salad, pickles, red onion and your choice of sauce. I picked the coleslaw as my side and it was delicious!
They gave us a side of free fries while we waited!
Can’t wait to come back and try more items from the menu!

First time here- food was amazing. We tried different chicken flavors, my favorite was the sweet and spicy one. Ordered bulgogi sliders as well- and while they came a little late- they were definitely worth the wait. Music was a little overbearing though, but service was amazing as well. Very friendly staff.

Where to start!
Entered and my wife and I were greeted warmly by the owner.

We were allowed to sit in a seating of our choosing and our order was quickly taken.

The owner surprised us with a free sweet pretzel with cheese sauce appetizer and at the same time offered us the opportunity to join in karaoke night which was going on today. It ended up being an unexpected pleasant surprise as my wife and I have never done karaoke before!

We ordered the spicy soy garlic half chicken as well as the half crispy chicken. The food was amazing. The crunch to the chicken was out of this world. It’s truly very crunchy and pleasant.

Will definitely be back!

Great halal Korean spot! We’re familiar with Korean cuisine and decided to try something new. Bulgogi sliders, soy dumplings, crispy chicken sandwich with hot honey, and kimchi fried rice with chicken were all good. Sliders and rice definitely ? worth coming back for!

Owner and staff were really nice checking on us several times and made suggestions too while answering our questions. Said they made their menu completely halal two days ago (no pork).

My only subjective suggestion is to turn down the music a bit but I understand some people might like the K-pop vibes.
