Chole bhature was real let down was afraid if we will get sick after tasting the double fried brown bhaturas.
Punjabi Junction is a hidden gem in the DMV area. Delicious food, friendly staff, and reasonably priced. I drive out of my way to go to this place. I usually do carryout - the food is packaged well with generous portions. Highly reccomend.
I have no hesitation to give all 5 stars for the quality of food and services after we concluded my kids bday event. They catered a wide range of veg and non-veg items with great taste n spice standards. Many thanks to owner Balwinder Uncle Ji and Jogi bhai for curating the menu and maintaining the food quality for us. The hospitality and services by every staff member was very welcoming fr us and all guests. Thank you very much PJ.
As someone who loves and respects Punjabi food, this place was heartbreaking. The garlic naan wasn’t even fully cooked. Paneer tikka masala had no flavor, no texture – just a mess. The channa bhatura tasted like cardboard. This isn’t just bad food, it’s a misrepresentation of a beautiful cuisine.
We had an awesome experience. Food and service is A+

A True Taste of India – Fantastic Experience!
I had an amazing experience at Punjabi Junction. The food was absolutely fantastic—rich, flavorful, and authentic. From the creamy curries to the fragrant basmati rice, every bite reminded me of home-cooked Punjabi meals. They even had puri, which was a delightful surprise and a rare find in most Indian restaurants.
The atmosphere was warm and truly Indian, with a cozy, cultural vibe that makes you feel right at home. But what really stood out was the service—the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. You could tell they genuinely cared about giving guests a great experience.
I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for real Punjabi flavors and amazing hospitality!
First time i ordered from Punjabi Junction, so wanted to try a variety of dishes. food was excellent, just 1 thing that i was disappointed with, the onions with chole bhature were pink but tasted like recently wasted, so very plain and bland. I had also done a side of onion and pickle, and it was the same washed pickle with nimmbo achaar on top. i would've liked it to be tossed so its flavorful bit it wasn't. felt like a waste of money. it definitely impacted the experience of the dishes.
The food overall was good, a lot of chole to go with bhature, goat curry was excellent, khadai chicken was good, naan options were good, samosa chat was good as well, but OMG the Gajar Halwa so was sooo good. i ordered the dishes indian hot, didn't connect in my brain that it might be actually hot, so the gajar halwa really tasted amazing.

I recently dined at [punjabi junction ], and overall, it was a satisfying experience. The food was flavorful and authentic. The butter chicken and biryani were standout dishes, with rich spices and just the right amount of heat.
• The portion sizes were generous, and we definitely got our money’s worth.
• The ambiance was warm and inviting, with traditional Indian décor that made for a cozy dining experience

I had the worst encounter with an elderly lady who picked up the phone. I asked if they had roghni naan and she just bursted and started uttering unethical nonsense. I went inside and faced her and asked her what did I say that she acted that way. Long story short this never happened in my entire life I know it doesn’t make sense I’m still
In a state of shock. I’ll be going in the evening as I asked another guy there when the owner comes.
