I wish I could give this place zero stars. The service was absolutely terrible. The person who took my order was rude and dismissive, and when I asked him to repeat the order for accuracy, he still managed to mess it up. I ordered two salads, but he insisted on only giving me one because I didn’t order rice—which made no sense at all. To top it off, the food was overcooked and completely unappetizing. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Do not waste your time or money here.

Everything ain't for everyone at least not today this was my first time ordering from here, the spinach stew was scorched which made the dish tastes terrible and the fish was not made to order I don't know what time they cooked it but it was very dry and did not appear to be fresh and it smelled overly fishy. The fufu was very sticky it was hard to like ballet up in order to try to dip it but that was impossible to enjoy because of the taste. Also one of the fufu packages was not properly wrapped .The stew was swimming in oil and a little bitter due to the burnt pieces. I'm a cook and I know fresh food. I still have the burnt aftertaste. They also sent the wrong drinks when we asked for two pepsis they sent us to off the Wall one malt drink and another some type of juice with high fructose in it one of the opened at the top. I hate to waste food but I can't even give this away. I'm requesting a refund through Uber eats that is what the person on the phone at Rhama told me. She offered more food but the roads are icy and I can't get out but I would not dare eat there or order again personally based off of this experience. Calmly quiet me but I told her I would like to voice my opinion and I was upset because it was a little pricey to just waste away. I need those funds back quick.I'm hoping and praying they give me a refund the lady on the phone simply directing me to Uber for a refund. I asked for the manager she said she doesn't come in till Monday. So I guess that means next Monday cuz today is Monday. I'm not going to forget to call back. I'm very not satisfied and disappointed 😞 *Update Uber refunded the charges, 🤲.

My best friend discovered this joint and told me about it last week. I told him we would check it out some other time. We finished some construction work we had started last weekend this weekend, and he brought it up again. I agreed to go check the place out. He brought his family with him. The restaurant looked like a tiny place to me upon entry. Anyway, I reviewed the menu. It's loaded with typical Ghanaian dishes, from jolof rice and fufu to wakye and everything in between. There are goat soup, peanut butter soup, okra sauce stew, green leaf stews, and more. Talk about varieties, they've got them. I reviewed the menu board.
It's that simple to see what they have and easy to choose, even if you are not Ghanaian or have never been there before. I picked the fufu and goat meat soup. The goat meat soup comes in 4 different kinds: light soup, palm nut soup, fish soup, or chicken soup. You choose and sit down and wait. Within 30 minutes after placing the order, food was served. I said my little prayer and got to work. It tasted perfect. I requested it to be spicy, and it was spicy. Not overly spicy, just right by me. I wasn't sweating or tearing up, but just about. You can guess the feeling. I buried my concentration, enjoyed every fufu cut after cut, goat meat bite after bite, and liked the soupy finger and finger.
By three mouthfuls, I was on cloud nine by all standards. Yummy Yummy!!! I am married and very lucky to have a wife who cooks all these Ghanaian dishes, and I can enjoy any time I want to, even if I wish to eat a particular food every weekend all year round. So I hardly eat outside of home. But I am here to tell you that the Rahama Restaurant at 45665 W Church Rd STE 112, Sterling, VA 20164 is an excellent one to patronize. Very good, tasty dishes and very well priced within students' price range. A very reasonable price for the kind of food they make and sell. I recommend them to all and sundry, not only to Ghanaians or West Africans who want some home dishes to feel and taste the motherland occasionally. I recommend their dishes to everyone to check out typical African dishes for a change and an experience. Cheers!

Okay so when I walked in the rude lady was watching videos on her phone and she continued to do so when I already knew what I wanted from jump so I just started telling her. Then she slightly argued with me that I couldn’t get Egusi with jollaf because it comes with fufu. We made it past that I got my food and left. The food was terrible. I e had all kinds of African food and this place was the worst. It literally tasted like some sht I could make at home. And I’m black American. lol but seriously though I was upset and I would’ve returned it but I was just passing thru and I live in Pennsylvania. If only I would’ve tasted it sooner before my husband drove off. Work on yal customer service and cooking as well. Now I see why there’s no customers. This place was NOTHING LIKE rahama in Woodbridge Va!
