Are used to come here with coworkers over 20 years ago. I coincidentally drove by with my daughter a few weeks ago and For the last few weeks I have been craving my favorite dish from there… The papri chaat appetizer. Today I decided to make a road trip and go have dinner. My surprise all my favorites were on the buffet… The Halim, Nahari, even the ingredients to make your own papri chaat. I’m definitely gonna make more of an effort to come back around this area and stop back in!
We just had the buffet. The hostess was so nice. We had never had Pakistani food, so she explained it to us. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back.

The food here is outstanding and the service is excellent. The buffet is one of the best I have seen - most buffets have limited options but this one is expansive with multiple meat-based curries and the vegetarian options are outstanding as is the kheer (which I recommend highly!). Would definitely recommend to others!

Me and my family went to enjoy the buffet special at Shalimar Kabob and I am very satisfied with our experience. The owners set up variety dishes with authentic taste for a very good price. Only 15.99 for all this delicious food. “Loved” their Tandoori chicken Hariyali boti were bomb and specially served in a buffet. The atmosphere of the restaurant and hospitality was much appreciated. Delicious food and reasonably priced. It can’t get better than this. We will visit much more often for their buffet and weekend specials.

If you are craving ground chicken or beef kabobs, please look no further, Shalimar Charcoal Kabob has got to be the BEST kabob house in Northern Virginia. Very recently, I needed to go out of state to visit my parents who have no kabob houses near them and that was the one thing my elderly father was craving. I had ordered kabobs a few years ago from this restaurant, so I knew how amazing and delicious these kabobs were. I called the restaurant thinking I could just pick up the kabobs the day before and freeze it and take it with me in my carry-on bag the following day. The person that I was talking to is the owner of Shalimar Charcoal Kabob whose name is Omar Farooq. He suggested that he could bring it to me personally so that way my father could eat it as fresh as can be. My father ate it that night and was so touched that an owner of a restaurant went out of his way to make sure this customer would have a wonderful experience. The tastiness and the reasonably priced kabobs along with the superb customer service is beyond outstanding!! This place is second to none!! The owner has a heart of gold!!!!!
