excellent beer for excellent people, brewed by excellent people. just pure excellence 😎
Well made beers and tasty
This has become one of our go-to spots when we want good beer, good food, and great service. Our taste leans toward the darker beers, which there aren’t a lot of, but what they have are excellent. Their food is amazing, too! I grab a burger with curly fries and am never disappointed. Shout out to Clay and Middle who always provide top-notch service.
Don't buy food here. I went on Sunday and ordered some wings, and now I have salmonella.
Sundays they sell cases at a discount
Love the beer. 50% of the brewery is arcade games full of kids which made it feel like a Chuck E. Cheese.
Great vibe and food. Beer was 4 stars. I'll be back. Good place for kids with the arcade games.
Great beer. Partly cloudy amazing. Stop by for a brew and to play some video games.
Rude bartender horrible music
My family and I have been here a few times and love hanging out and playing the arcade games with our kids, but this was our first time ordering food. Best chicken sandwich I have ever had. Seriously delicious. The kids meals fantastic and a steal. My husband got the spicy chicken thighs which were also incredible. Thank you.

Great Beer, Great food, family friendly, just always a great all around place to be.
Stopped by here for a few hours killing time before going to the airport.
Great facilities, and the people are the friendliest and most welcoming around (and that's saying alot, brewery folks tend to be pretty cool to begin with).
The food is awesome, not a giant selection for a foodie type but more than enough to satisfy your lunch or dinner needs.
The beer selection is excellent. Alot of different IPAs, especially in the West Coast style which is my favorite IPA. Also several creative sours, imperial porter, etc, as well as some ciders. My only regret is that I have but one layover to give!
My husband said that their burger was by far the best he's had! He's a very picky eater and didn't remove anything from his burger or order it plain like he does at other places we go.
He even ate the onions and enjoyed the flavor! (That's a first for him). I can't comment on the beer as I don't drink, but the food and atmosphere was so friendly and welcoming! There's even things for kids to do.
The Assistant General Manager Ian Adamson is a friend of mine and sat down with my husband and I for a bit. He is one of the kindest and hardworking guys I've ever known.
This will definitely be me and my husband's new date spot! We can even bring the kids when we don't have a babysitter.
10/10 recommend! If you haven't been here yet, then what are you doing!?
I went for the dueling pianos event in November. The musicians were so incredibly talented and they put on a wonderful show. There was a lot of variety in the songs requested. The last few songs everyone was dancing and singing along in the center of the brewery. So much fun! Great crowd! The tickets on eventbrite were easy to purchase.
The brewery itself seemed terribly understaffed for such a large event. I ordered food at the very beginning of the night, before it got busy, and after 30 mins I asked if the waitress could check on it. She did not. 15 mins later I asked again and they brought out the food- which was not good. Super greasy and over cooked. It was typical bar food. There was a special (reduced) menu that night due to the event. So there wasn't a big selection to begin with. I had ordered under the "shareable appetizers" menu but we did not receive extra plates. Nachos were a bit awkward to eat without our own plates.
The staff also had a hard time refilling the large Gatorade jug of water that everyone was using. They handed out small cups, so you had to refill frequently. I remembered that when I came to Solace in the past, water was an issue, so I bought my own bottles of water for everyone in the group. I saved the day since all 8 of us were parched.
Overall it was a fun event but I suggest eating beforehand and bringing your own water.
One of my favorite spots in DC. The staff is exceptional!
