We ordered from Uber Eats, paid for priority, so we got the food right away... Most of the good was cold. Fries were limp and soggy. We ordered "the kitchen sink" loaded fries with all the meats... they arrived with just a little bacon. Smallest portion size of any BBQ place... or any resturant Ive even eaten at. All that for almost $130 bucks. Not worth the price at all!

Ordered their fried chicken sandwich and it was excellent. Better than chic fil a. Mac and cheese was also great! Cupcake was tasty too! So good I ordered it again today

OMG this place is so yummy! The portion sizes are too expensive for what they are but YUM. We had ribs (amazing) mac n cheese (so good), wings (omg, yum and not too much sauce), cornbread (delicious) and brisket (good but won’t order again). Will order again from this place for sure.

We had high hopes for Good Eats Emporium when making a last minute switch from our planned dinner at Sweetwater, just across the parking lot. For starters, the decor is a weird yellow with green trim. Maybe that combo works in Granny's house, but it's not ideal for food service, or so said my prof in my hotel & restaurant school program 50 years ago. Victoria at the bar was the bright spot of the day. She was personable and outgoing, as we have come to expect from GAR in the many locations we have frequented. Beer selection was good, ad the kegs were well chilled. From there, however, things went downhill. The shrimp roll appeared to be loaded with fried shrimp, but that was because they were sitting on a mountain of greens to make the shrimp spill out of the roll. That would have been fine if the shrimp had been crisp, but they were fried to a soggy, doughy consistency. The accompanying fries were equally greasy and limp. The Southern salad was good, but the fried chicken that adorns it was, once again, fried to a limp, doughy state. I see a pattern here. Someone needs to train people on how to use a fryer. Unlike other GAR restaurants, where managers are visible on the floor, we saw no such visibility here. Maybe that explains the quality lapse. We'll stick with Sweetwater, ARtie's and Coastal Flats. Good Eats Emporium is a dud.

The street corn was amazingly good. Salads are fresh and similar to Sweetwater. The fish fry has a nice coating and the BBQ was good but portion was small. French fries were too greasy as was the cheeseburger.

Lots of negatice reviews, but I tried it anyway, and was not disappointed. A lot of tacos and bar-b -Q. I got a pulled chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries that were worth waiting 200 miles for. They have a counter area that seated peope who could use laptops while eating. The food here was good. No negative review from me on this one...

My family is a huge fan of Beltway GAR restaurants and wanted to try out this new one and took a New Year's Day drive out to visit. We shared a few plates. Ribs were done very well, tasty and tender. Enjoyed the hot wings. Brisket was not liked - came in a tart sauce that left a weird aftertaste for long afterward (Actually the worst brisket I've had). Pulled pork was just ok. BBQ can't compete with local chains Red Hot and Blue and Mission BBQ. My kid ordered a plain hamburger and they gave her a cheeseburger even after confirming order face to face with hostess twice. No sauce or utensils were provided with the order (it was the go). Manager apologized and corrected order and gave a cinnamon bun to try to make up. Finally, I had three GAR gift cards I had planned to use on this order, but was told they are actually the only GAR that can't take the cards (weird). I can't see going back knowing what we know, but will stick with the GAR restaurants closer to home.

It's great to have another wonderful Great American Restaurants with such a clever mix of foods. We loved the Mexican street corn at Taqueria Loco - great spices on delicious corn on the cob. The grilled wings from Stupid Good BBQ were really good with the Alabama sauce - that sauce is so different from traditional BBQ sauces and is creamy and really good. The grilled chicken is also really tasty and the rice and beans that come with it are top notch - super flavorful. Having the Best Buns store there means you can get as many Ozzie rolls as you want - never pass up the opportunity to get dinner doughnuts, I say! What a fun combination of eateries in one location - you cannot go wrong with any GAR offering. Super friendly staff, too, as with all the GAR locations.
