Tuesday lunch. Great variety on the buffet, in addition to the AYCE sushi. Good price for the AYCE. Fresh sushi. And you get to grab a Thai or Taro tea in the buffet price.

I saw a post for this on instagram… I wouldn’t recommend this place. The service was decent—our waitress was nice, but she barely paid attention to our table and spent a lot of time in the back doing who knows what. The food, however, was the real issue. My entire family and I agreed that it was TERRIBLE.

The sushi, which was the main reason we came, was extremely disappointing. The taste and quality were far below the standards of other AYCE sushi spots I’ve visited in VA. It looked and tasted like cheap, low-grade food. The buffet options were no better—the chicken was fatty and overly oily, and the drinks, which are free, tasted like laundry detergent.

On top of that, the place didn’t feel sanitary despite being new. I honestly feel like I might get food poisoning from what we ate. The price is okay, but it’s definitely not worth it for the experience we had. My family (respectfully) won’t be coming back. 😬

Was pleasantly surprised. Food was good. You get a lot of food for the price you pay. Drinks, appetizers, food from cold and hot bar and sushi they bring to your table. The place looks very nice and the service is prompt.

If you’re looking for very mediocre all you can eat sushi with some extra equally mediocre hot bar items then this is your place. For $27.50 a person you could go buy real sushi that actually tastes good, wont be returning.

I went last night. Saturday night at approximately 6:30. The place was filled up. Lots of customers and a busy dinner service.

On first walk through I saw the buffet and was surprised at how large the buffet servings were. We were seated and promptly waited on by a very nice server who was attentive throughout our stay. As it was our first time there, she explained the choices and the process for all you can eat.

My companion went to the buffet, and I ordered sushi and seaweed salad. My companion enjoyed most of his buffet offerings except for the calimari, which he said the breading tasted a little "off. and "stale." My sushi arrived at the table and looked very nice. However the rolls weren't put together quite right and the rice seemed dry.

My overall impression is that the sushi is being constructed at a fairly fast rate and without a lot of "love." I usually get the same rolls at any sushi restaurant and use my experience with them to compare/contrast my experiences in other sushi places. The eel/avocado, spicy salmon and spicy tuna rolls were presented very nicely. The eel/unagi just wasn't great. It was okay but the rolls were mostly avocado and very little eel and the eel sauce was not very noticeable. The flavor of the spicy tuna and salmon were good, however the rolls weren't rolled well and the rice just wasn't up to the task.

Overall I would give this restaurant a 2.5/5. If one is a sushi aficionado, this is a place to avoid. But if you are someone who enjoys a very well stocked buffet with many many offerings, this could be a great place to try.

First experience is a no go for me. The decor is beautiful, and when I first walked in I felt it was going to be a good experience. However, that quickly changed. I did not care for most of the food selection. It's $27.95 pp , for the cold and hot bar. They give you a menu with sushi and other options that you can order, included in the buffet price.
I do like that they offer the additional items with the bar, but the food at the bar needs improvement.
The fried rice was crunchy and hard, as well as some other items. I noticed that things were sitting too long, to the point of being old and cold but you don't realize until you get it on your plate and to the table. The only item that I found consistently tasty was the fried shrimp.
For this price point, all food items should be fresh and taste much better. I do not recommend this restaurant and will not return.

Idk if it was the mussels or something else at the hot bar but I got severe food poisoning right after I ate there and the people I was with also got really sick after eating there. The sushi there is probably fine but don’t eat from the hot bar

Amazing food, friendly and attentive service. I've been to all of the all you can eat sushi restaurants in the area and this one is my favorite by far! I recommend getting the pepper salmon tataki and the spicy tuna gyoza. They even have an all you can drink milk tea fridge and an ice cream bar!

Came in for brunch for my mom’s birthday, there was no wait and we were seated quickly. I thought there was a good selection of food from the buffet in addition the the stuff on the menu. I do think the rolls are a bit thicker with rice than I’d like, filling me up much quicker, but everything was still fresh and delicious. The owner and servers were all super nice and welcoming, making our overall experience great.

Very good sushi and worth the price! There was this one server who was really nice to us and always made sure we were ok. I think her name was emmy? emi? em? I’m not sure but she was a great server.

Dietary restrictions: Not a lot of vegetarian options.
