Had 6:00 PM reservation and unfortunately someone hit a deer on route 7 that caused a bit of back up in traffic. Called the restaurant to inform we were only 10 minutes behind and would be there no later than 6:10. We were told they would not hold our table. We asked what their grace period was for reservations and the hostess informed us there was none and they would not seat us until 8:00. 20 year Great American Restaurant customer but this experience was not it.

Sweetwater Tavern never disappoints! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and served hot. Their steaks and ribs are perfectly cooked, and the seafood dishes are just as impressive. The atmosphere is lively but comfortable—great for both family dinners and casual meetups with friends. The staff are friendly, attentive, and make sure everything is just right. Definitely one of the best spots in town for quality food and great service!

A local recommended this place to me, and I’m so glad they did it was amazing! The food was great, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service truly stood out. I want to give a special shoutout to Aileen, who took such great care of my party. She was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience feel effortless. If you’re looking for a great drink, definitely ask for Aileen she’s a fantastic bartender and will take great care of you. You all have an incredible team member in her! I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this spot to anyone in the area!

We for lunch. I had the pulled pork Sandwich with mashed potatoes. Friendly had the filet tips with pasta. Both meals very good Service was effective and efficient. Server kept the teas glasses filled.
We made reservations which is recommended as it was very busy. Easy parking. Server was great. Food was excellent! Cesar salad was delicious. The penne primavera dish was excellent. It came out cold and I asked to warm it up - seemed like they prepared a new dish when I got it back and it was popping hot! Manager brought it out with a smile. Others at the table got the bacon cheese burger, kids Mac and cheese and a pecan salad. Everyone enjoyed their food. Bread basket for $1 was delicious - warm and fresh. And the local beer was very good.

I HAVE NO WORDS! This place is just legendary. I definitely recommend the bread buns either the better and there beautifuly crispy steak. Their ceaser salad is also really good. Even though it’s a bit expensive it is worth the money. I go during birthdays a lot this is probably one of my favorite restraunts .

Local spot for when I visit headquarters. Cannot recommend this place enough. While the goat cheese salad with their skirt steak is a staple the fish of the day is also absolutely worth it. Today was red snapper with butternut squash and a corn chowder base. Lastly, the chicken breast entree is also pictured.

My husband and I came here for date night and would definitely return. The Sweetwater roasted chicken salad was amazing! We loved the variety in the bread basket and you just have to try the white chocolate caramel bread pudding…. Leave room for this dessert! We enjoyed the view of the pond. It was a little loud and harder to have a conversation, but we also went on a Sunday night, so it’s understandably a busier time to go.

I ordered the hickory grilled hanger steak. While cooked to perfection, all I could taste was the garlic butter they cooked it in. It was gritty and full of fat. The mashed potatoes fell flat as well. Service was spectacular, but I would not eat there again.
