EDIT: The roach was in my house ramen soup. I wrote my review right after the incident, not really in my right mind. I'm not asking for anything; I just want other people to be aware!!
I found a roach on my chicken noodles, showed it to the workers, and left. No refund will make it right, so we are just never coming back.

I recently visited Tzone Dessert Bar in Sterling, VA, and while my experience had its highs and lows, it was overall decent. The fruity tea I got was "I Love Tzone". Overall the drink itself was good. I loved the flavor and the freshness of the fruit. Personally I didn't like the boba that they had. It had no flavor overall. Plus the croissant was quite disappointing; it seems over stale and more or less store bought, On the bright side, the service was excellent—prompt and friendly, which really enhanced the visit. I’d be willing to give Tzone another try, hoping for a better dessert next time.

Kindly asked a worker if they could add more sweetener to my tea, she ended up snatching it out of my hands and rolling her eyes at me. Great place for desserts but workers provide terrible customer service.

Parking: Free parking. If unavailable at the front of the store try some in the back there should be plenty but need to walk a min or two extra.
Wheelchair accessibility: Located on ground floor. Wheelchair parking nearby too

I finally made it out here after browsing all the pictures and menus on Yelp. It's a little bit of a tricky spot to find, just look for the cold stone it's next to that. The review is solely based on them not having the drink I wanted and what I actually ended up ordering.
The inside was very inviting with the wall of snacks and knick knacks, then a wall with "love" deco. And the employee greeted us immediately. There are just too many items to choose from for teas, snacks, etc. I originally came here to try the cheese tea, but of course, they were sold out since it's a popular drink.
Now with that being said, I was clueless as to what else I should get. I've already tasted, macarons, croffles, Etc. I ended up getting the croissant with chocolate ice cream since I've never seen that combo before. While hesitantly ordering, I was very confused about how to eat it and asked her. I originally asked her to put the ice cream on the side, but she was insistent on putting it on the croissant. She was actually super nice about the whole thing though, and gave an extra scoop since I was sharing it with someone. That was very generous of her! However I did not really enjoy the chocolate croissant only because it was very hard to eat. The croissant was very tough and we couldn't even cut it with a knife.
If I'm in the area I may return to try the cheese tea.

We usually get cotton candy clouds and something else, varies. But so far anything we tried was pretty good. Minus once when all drinks spilled in my car because it wasn’t sealed the top, but it was a new girl type of situation tho. If the owner there things are going much smoother. All together I still give 5 star because of the quality of the drinks so far very good and customer service too in general.

My husband got the Ube shake and devoured it. It was delicious I even tried a little. The tea was by far my favorite part. I ordered a custom tea made with green tea, rose and lychee. I haven't had a good rose tea since leaving NY and I really loved it. I was able to customize sweetness too. I did 50% and it was perfect. The place was quiet and relaxing they have books to read and lots of different tables to sit at. They also have some fun trinkets and Asian snacks like ube mochi and milk tea kit kats. This will be the tea spot for me just on my drink alone. Workers were extremely polite.

Nice cafe to eat their rice paper, buttered corn, spicy mango snack. Many boba drink options. Store front is facing the other side in case anyone gets confused like I did.

The service was excellent: I was greeted from first walking in and the boba barista was very patient with me because it was my first time trying their boba teas. They also gave great recommendations and told me about how local favorites are going to taste.
I ordered the Strawberry Lemon Tea with light ice and 50% sweetness/sugar. It was really good! I had a craving for good boba and this tea hit the spot! I really liked that they had fruits in them, too. I didn't have the opportunity to try any of their desserts and food things, but I will definitely try to stop by and try some another time.
The tea shop looks so cute and comfortable. They have tables and chairs as well as cozy cushioned couches. They also have manga series available for people to read, if they wish to hang out at the shop and chill. It's so cute; I love it! They have a few treats as well as boba/tea merch/cups/etc. for sale if you need or like that sort of thing.
I definitely recommend stopping by and trying some things from their menu!

A couple years ago I used to enjoy coming here with friends and family. Even going as far to recommend this establishment to anyone who asks for a great boba place. My last few visits have been far from great. The first incident we thought it was just a one off visit and gave them a few more chances. This last time was the worst experience of them all. I have noted repeatedly that the Sunday evening manager or shift leader is more interested in conversation and horseplay with her coworkers than the experience of the customers. This visit was no different. On average we have waited multiple times 25 minutes or more for two drinks (basic ones at that). Keep in mind most times we go there is no line. There were four employees including the manager or shift leader. My drink was overflowing and when I went to grab it from the counter it spilled everywhere and went all over my hand and the floor. I then waited and proceeded to ask for napkins. The employee in charge at the time gave me napkins and I mentioned the drink was spilling. She did not care to assist me in replacing the cup and gave me about three napkins for the mess.It is disappointing to see the standard of customer service as someone who previously worked in food service for several years. Being that this establishment is so local to me and seeing how the service has greatly diminished over the last year and half it is sad to see how little consideration there is for the customers. Having had this occur quite a few times now, it is discouraging and unless there is a change I will not be returning in person or recommending anyone buy their boba and experiencing what I have.
