I went to watch college football and decided to try out the pancakes, which were amazing!!! A few hours later (still there watching game), I tried the wings and they were great! There is TVs around the entire place with many games. Beers are cold and service is quick and friendly! I will definitely be going back again.

Visiting from Indy and got stared down by everyone at the bar no one greeted then my server barely acknowledged me and while taking my order was very breif walking away as I was trying to tell him what I wanted to drink but noticed he took plenty of time with others at the bar and the people that had just came in after me. I just ordered an appetizer and beer would have gotten more but the service and atmosphere was horrible I had to get out of there.

Used to come here when I lived in the area. Still a nice spot to wait for someone flying into Dulles.

Great place to go for any occasion. Food is really good and tons of options. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

Visited the Bungalow Lake House today to take a dear friend for a birthday lunch. The service and food were FABULOUS! I had the Chicken Piccata. It was perfectly seasoned, a plentiful portion and the risotto with fontina cheese was delicious. The prices were perfect for the quality of the food. The waitress brought out my friend's dessert with a lighted candle on top which delighted her Thanks for a great dining experience!

We hosted a wedding happy hour at Bungalow Lakehouse and it was excellent! Their staff was so easy to work with and hospitable, and the food and drinks and the space were perfect! We were so happy we did our event there and our guests loved it! Thank you so much and highly recommend!

Lakhouse Bungalows could have been a peaceful and charming evening out, especially in the heart of Loudoun — but unfortunately, it’s become a magnet for disruptive, intrusive, and low-integrity guests..

The environment feels like Karen/Ken Central: people constantly watching, gossiping, and inserting themselves into others’ business. Many guests behave with an air of entitlement and arrogance, showing little cultural awareness or respect for others. The atmosphere feels neither safe nor relaxing, and some guests appear to have questionable backgrounds or criminal tendencies, which only heightens the sense of unease.

At times, the behavior borders on absurd. Certain regular guests feel entitled to seat themselves wherever they please, even if a table is already occupied. I personally witnessed individuals physically moving another patron’s food and belongings just to claim a spot they preferred — and all of this happened without consent or any staff intervention. It’s not the 1940s or 1950s — such disregard for boundaries and courtesy should never be acceptable.

What’s worse is the apparent alignment between some staff members and this crowd. Rather than maintaining professionalism, staff seemed to enable and overlook these behaviors, ignoring theft, bias, and misconduct. At times, it even felt premeditated, as though guests were being targeted or profiled based on appearance or background.

It’s heartbreaking, because the property itself is beautiful and has so much potential. But when a place consistently attracts rude, dishonest, or prejudiced individuals, and management fails to uphold standards of safety and respect, that beauty loses all meaning.

Bottom line: Lakhouse Bungalows is visually stunning but emotionally unsettling. Until management enforces guest conduct, trains staff properly, and takes accountability, I would strongly advise anyone seeking a refined or respectful atmosphere to stay elsewhere.

The breakfast menu has been changed and it’s not as good as before. I got the chicken and waffles and it used to be so good because it came with grits and a sauce on the chicken. The new dish is just a dry waffle and fried chicken for the same price. I was pretty disappointed

I really liked the ambiance here. The staff were very friendly and they feed veterans for free on Veterans Day.

I’ve come here four or five times in a row to hang out the barn and play darts only to find out that they have rented it out to some teenage high school group. It shouldn’t even be in the bar to begin with.. it’s a great location with a great view but if you plan on ever playing darts here, just go somewhere else and save yourself some time. It’s not worth the headache of coming in and being disappointed every single time!!!

edit : I understand that’s a way that you guys have income. This is just a note for other people that plan on coming there with the intention of playing darts. It’s kind of a waste of time on most nights because of those events.

Update 11 Oct 2025: You can never play darts at this place. They always have an event taking up the dart space. They have this awesome spot to play darts, and I would even join a league here because it’s a nice spot. Ugh. Manager felt bad for me and bought me a beer. Thanks Shawn, you’re a gentleman and a scholar.
