The Dons' Wood Fired Pizza

This is the best pizza I’ve ever tasted! The pizza is very juicy and delicious.

Great place to enjoy pizza. Frank Sinatra playing on the speaker. Past Redskin and other athletes plastered on the walls. The wood fired brick oven is a sight to behold. I was expecting the pizza to have a little more crisp, a little more char, a little more bite, but it just didn't get there for me. I'm gonna go with a One Bite score of 7.6. A good solid pizza. That's the review.

As a native New Yorker, I'm a huge fan of pizza and have tried a ton of pizza places throughout NOVA. I'm bummed I didn't try this one earlier because it is phenomenal. I had a margarita and vegetable pizza, and both were great. It was a nice thin crust that could still handle the toppings without getting soggy.
The pizza came out quickly and the people who work there are all friendly, but that all incidental when you have pizza this good. Two thumbs way up and I will be back (soon).

Drove 30 minutes for slices after seeing The Dons advertised as best pizza in NOVA. The place itself is cute; loved the little tables and Sinatra playing. The prices for slices were cheap by NOVA standards. Hubby and I each ordered 2 slices. We threw out about half of each slice. There was more sauce than cheese on most of the slices and they didn't even look appetizing. (The crust was really good, though. Also could tell the Italian sausage was imported.) Overall bland and uninspired, like most of the pizza around here. On a Saturday night the place was dead. I'm super perplexed because this place seemed like it was going to be great. Reviews are stellar overall, and the pictures look solid. I'll chalk it up to a bad night, but it's unfortunate when that's the first impression. Yikes.

Best barbecue chicken pizza! It is so fresh and delicious! I can’t find another one I like as much as the Dons! Try it!

Best deal in town 2 slices and a drink for $9. You can't beat it. Fantastic pizza and all around great place.

This is by far my favorite pizza. They use the small pepperoni that curls. I love their caprese salad. Another favorite is the chorizo pizza. The service is always welcoming and friendly.

I have never set foot in this establishment, but my husband goes there on his lunch breaks weekly and when he goes i make sure he comes home with not one but two slices for me!! He has met the owners and said they are delightful people! And the pizza!! By far thee best pizza I have ever had!! To the point I stopped eating all other pizza lol if it's not from Dons I don't want it lol!! 10/10 highly recommend!!

There are so many types of pizza, so it is hard to share if the pizza is good for all. But if you look at freshness, good solod ingredients, and this style of pizza, it is a winner for me. The style here is New York (which is my favorite and the hardest to get right because it is so simple). Ingredients are fresh and no nasty tang in the sauce, so they store it right and it is clearly made fresh. Also (which is not typical) the mix of toppings is nice and not werid. Someplaces get "fance" and it just werid. Here good presentation on the counter just make you want to order 1 of each slice. Was here on Saturday @ noon and they had 8 to 10 pizza styles to pick from so great choice.

Finally, I hate greasy pizza. Even the sausage slice which I had, had limited fat, so great taste - no napkin clean up.

All around great place and I love the music played inside.

My partner and I recently enjoyed a delightful date night at The Don's Pizzeria, and it was an experience to remember! Stopped by on a rainy day. Antonio, the manager was very friendly. I got the “White Lie”, a balanced flavor of Fontina, white sauce, basil and garlic.

Delicious unique specialties, amazing customer service and fast speed WiFi for some work.

Spent here half the day and will be back!
