Very hard to deal with this business when trying to order a cake. Process is over the phone and too much room for confusion. Cake itself was dry and not good. Upcharged for decorations without agreement and only one person can deal with credit card refunds so waiting 3 weeks for their vacation is stupid and unprofessional.

French bread factory’s American flag cake is the best cake I’ve ever had. I’m a 43 year old man and I’ve eaten a lot of cake. My work ordered the cake. I had to find out who made it so I could write a review. It was that good. All of my coworkers also loved it.

First, there appears to be some questionable 5 star reviews that are from employees which is affiliated with the business. This may violate Yelp's Content Guidelines. Second, their pastries/cakes are of low quality, not impressed. Third, they should practice business etiquette. Would not recommend this company.

Overall the cake we ordered was exactly how we wanted starting with the taste and ending with the beautiful design. One complaint that I do have would be upon arrival we were walked upstairs to the office to pick up the cake. I waited for about 10 minutes to someone to help us even though her daughter went to tell her someone had arrived which she completely ignored. 2 staff members walk up to her office regarding some matters. The front desk or office manager not sure who she was just yelled at them like they were some sort of animals. Regardless of what was happening this is not how you talk to your employees. She should appreciate her staff for all their hard work. Some advice would be taking some anger management courses and taking management courses.

I worked here for a total of 3 days. I was then called on my way to my 4th day of work by the HR lady. She called to inform me that my employment had been terminated. She said that since Virginia was an at-will state they could do so with no explanation. I was one of 3 white employees at the workplace. One of the others, my supervisor, quit the day before I was terminated and the other, a coworker, quit a week after due to the unwelcoming and hostile workplace. I understand Spanish and completely understood when the employees and managers were complaining about us "white folk". This had to be illegal, it's just not worth the legal battle.

Do not order from this place! I placed a cake order and they did not make it! When i went to pick it up they told me that they had messed up and put the wrong date. They told me aday after they could still make the cake i no longer needed! They did not care whatsoever i had to buy a cake from a different place because they could not delivered! They’ll give you excuses on why and then offer you a 20% discount for next time!

Lovely cupcakes, croissants and pastries. Wish I had pre-ordered and not just landed at their door to buy stuff. The lady who let me in was very helpful and made my visit worthwhile. But I will definitely visit here again and order what I want beforehand.

I order the 10” German Chocolate Cake, which had good reviews and recommendations. The cake was so bad that even kids couldn’t eat it. We served few pieces and all went to trash. Too much sugar even kids complained it was too sweet.Unfortunately , it was a bad experience!

Really bad service. The cakes are so delicious but the service is the complete opposite. We arrived and the man who opened the door was friendly but the people in the office were rude, careless and lazy. First, Modesto attended me and another employee named Norma was also there. Modesto told me that I could not pick what I wanted because I “chose” the basic package and didn’t want to let me explain how I wanted the cake. Then I asked Modesto if I could see how an 8 inch cake looked like and takes a measuring tape out as if he’s measuring something and tells me it is the circumference of the 8 inches which made no sense at all. Later on, I asked if I could speak with the manager and they both said she was busy and I said the service there was awful and Norma said in the rudest way possible to leave and go somewhere else. The cakes are good unfortunately the service is horrible.

Terrible customer service Spanish man was rude, they weren’t kind, he couldn’t provide me information about the cake. Modesto didn’t know anything about it’s decoration, size either it had a photo. I was asking him some questions and he left me talking myself and disappeared from the room. I ordered tiramusu cake when I picked up the decoration was wrong, it was for July fourth celebration. The cake was for a special birthday I didn’t fell free to choose anything about the cake. I was completely disappointed. I’m not gonna buy never ever from this Bakery again. Bad experience.

CAUTION!! Most of the 4/5star ratings post are from employees and friends with fake reviews. The staff never responds to emails or phones. I managed to drive to place and ordered cake for my daughter's birthday and the experience was very bad.Below 4 reasons :1. Misspelled the Name on the cake - in the instructions it was clearly written to spell the name.The finishing after correcting the spelling was not very good. Though I still accepted the cake because it was my last resort and mistakes do happen.2. Printed Alphabet Sheet - Not sure who gave this crazy idea of having a printed sheet for alphabets on the cake which is not soluble in the mouth on the cake is a very bad and unpleasant experience. No friends and guests liked this sheet.3. Dye used on the cake - Cake was ordered for green color. The Green Color was so bright and a very bad food color for kids to eat where you see their color on their tongue.The color should have been lighter than this very bright Color. I hate to even post the pictures of the cake for reviews.4. Cake spouge - The cake spouge was very dry to taste. The sponge cake inside none of my friends and guests liked it.Overall, this was my worst experience.
